  1. OMfrigginG!!!! Seriously dude, you need to go on a show or in a weight loss success magazine or something! You are the utmost perfect definition of what success stands for. You had better be damn proud of yourself, young-handsome-athletic-inspiring-man! P.S. shirt looks good!
  2. Apple, cinnamon, a dash of splenda brown sugar Yum! I grew up with cottage cheese being associated with sweet stuff (eg: added jam, fruit etc) It boggles my mind to see stuff like salt and pepper or salsa and tomatoes added! I have never had any of that with cottage cheese. Who knows, maybe I'll try it and actually like it! ????
  3. Are you sure you're not mixing up those statistics and read it backwards? I've read a lot and it even says on my surgeons website, (Plus he mentioned it too) that depending on what surgery you get - if a patient isn't diligent and careful that they can gain back 10-20% ish after 3-5 years or so with gastric bypass, and 30-50% with sleeve. Everyone will probably say some different numbers. But this was gaining back %'s if you're not careful. The success rate is up to 70- 100% (or more!) for weight loss in WLS patients. If you use this tool. Just be one of those patients that hit the 100%+ and beat the odds of gaining that 20% back in the future! I plan on being one of those patients! !!
  4. How are you today Gingerbred? Any better? Did your PCM figure things out?
  5. Wow! BigViffer you're a rock star! Very impressive indeed
  6. I never had to worry about this before ... but last night... I should NOT have trusted my fart. Omg I can't believe I'm telling you all this!!!! I blame it on you Winklie! You told me about MOM! at least it could be from the MOM. Or maybe it's from all of the following: MOM Senokot Stool softeners Restoralax Fibre pills Bran buds Omg who knows what my Bowels want for evacuation! I give it tons of Water and exercise! It should be a very happy bowel! My bowel is an asshole.
  7. I'm sure they notice but may be too weirded out to say anything? Maybe they can see you've lost weight but don't know how to ask without somehow offending you...? Maybe they're thinking "what if I ask her if she's lost weight but she hasnt" So maybe they're just playing it safe for now until they know for sure I'm sure you look great with 80 pounds gone!!
  8. He's looking to cheat for sure. If he has intentions of being with you and leaving his wife.. then maybe..? But if I were you, I'd say goodbye. It sounds sketchy and unstable. It's been 3 days and he's already saying stuff like that so yeah, I'd say he's actively looking to be a bad boy.
  9. I just laughed out loud! You and your ass really need to start getting along! Although I admit... me and my ass have not discussed a schedule of evacuation or anything. I eat bran buds, I take stool softeners, I take fibre pills, I occasionally use suppositories and I toot, but actual evacuation of ???? rarely happens. Where in the hell does it go?!?!?! I am forever full of poo! Sorry, TMI. I never have diarrhea, it's always the opposite! I go a week without having a BM and then the suppositories have to be brought out. I should look into this MOM stuff. Clearly we (me and my bum) need to have some MOM our lives.
  10. People have been known to flatten their pop so they can still drink it - but just without the carbonation
  11. It's getting mighty brrrrrrr here in BC Canada!!! -20 right now. I turn on my heated mattress pad hours before bed! We just bought a new vehicle yesterday (2016 Sante Fe ????) and the BEST feature it has is a HEATED STEERING WHEEL!!!!!! (And of course heated seats too!)
  12. I paid for the premium. I figured it was worth it since I'm on it every single day. (sometimes multiple) The advertising was super annoying so that was nice to get rid of. You get more information regarding your intake etc too. If you want to add me: HeatherKNelson
  13. I crossed my legs yesterday! I did it without even thinking, like I've always been able to! And this morning I bent right down to the floor to look at chart on the bottom shelf. AND I was able to stand back up! I haven't done that it in years! I was never able to do that 10 weeks ago! This surgery was the best thing I've ever done for myself. I'm so happy to see the changes
  14. That's really awesome news Bryan!! Or shall I say BigDog Let us know when you hit your next big milestone. Keep up the great work to a new you!
  15. The BUTCHER!!! he really should see you sooner. You should be priority now, I think anyways! I really really really really hope this all works out to your favor and you don't get screwed. I'm wishing you the absolute best of luck with this!
  16. Not sure if you've read from the very beginning of his post to his most recent.... You're not being judgemental but there is a lot to this story that is explained through out this entire thread.
  17. Aweeee that's so amazing! You're amazing! To lose triple digits is amazing! Amaz..... awesome!!!!!
  18. Great thread! I actually haven't experienced a stall yet.... But I MIGHT appreciate it - if and when it happens! And if I don't, then I'll come back to this thread
  19. Totally normal. I hit me like a brick wall at 2 weeks post op and lasted for about 2 more weeks. I felt amazing the first 2 weeks than BOOM! It'll get better, I swear it! Right now I'm killing it on my recumbent bike! I have so much energy now! So weird!! (I'm post op week 9) You'll get there! You're body just went thru major trauma - it's saying "Wtf did you do to me?" It'll be mad at you for a while and then it'll be thanking you every day for the rest of your life! Just rest a little while longer and then go kill it and be great at it!!!
  20. I just had to go ahead and reread this... And it made me work out even harder on the elliptical! Thanks my friend!! Aaaaannnndddd sweat just dropped on my screen! I will get there again Dub you can count on it! And if you're heading near Mexico in April, you'll find me on one of the beaches! Oh and puhhhhleeeaase wear a speedo! Pretty please! And then dance. Please dance. Hell, I'll even join you! We'll dance like nobody is watching! Except they are watching... very intentively! And loving every minute of the show!!! Way to go, Dub!I'm having a very emotional day and reading that made me tear up! Jerk. Haha love ya! ???? Those aren't emotions......just the endorphin rush you've been feeling from the killer exercising you've been doing. I gotta get my arse in gear and follow your lead......get into BEAST-mode really dang soon or I'll wind up looking like the skinny-fat dudes who wear Speedo bathing suits at the beach.....but should NOT. I do not want to be that guy. You, on the other hand, are getting into bikini shape and will arrive there well before beach season arrives. I'm grooving on your enthusiasm and loving your zeal for it. You are the patient my surgeon yearns for. He's been on me to kick it into gear. He'd take you and have commercials made to showcase how it can happen for folks. Wonder Woman forthcoming. He'd have you on all the billboards all over town. Much respect. I'm buying you a virtual ice cold beer and tipping it your way. Please send me details of when and where you'll be debuting that beach body. I'll be on that beach, too. The skinny-fat guy with the sombrero on....dark sunglasses and bucket of ice cold Messican cervezas beside my worn out beach chair. I'll be there to sit back and take in the sights. Will NOT be wearing a Speedo, however. Full blown Perve-mode.
