  2. THANK YOU! I totally don't mind being seen as average!!!! (For now heehee) I'll have to look at your profile to compare our stats
  3. Today is a GOOD day!! My journey is far from being over but at least I can see the finish line --- in the distance Next big milestone is the 100 pound mark! I'm happy to share this with all of you as you all have helped keep me inspired and motivated!!! thanks Heather

  6. Hi, you didn't give a whole lot of background info... But anyways - Is this surgery new? How long ago did you have it done? What kinds of problems are you having? I know for me - I had to have mine removed in an emergent status so it was just booked by a general surgeon and it was taken out. I originally got my band done in Mexico but had it taken out here in British Columbia Canada, where I live and it eas covered under medical/insurance. I don't know where you live or how your insurance works but will it be covered if it need's to be taken out or repaired emergently?
  7. Aweeee thank you Dub! Yeah I'm still in cloud 9 regarding all the NSV'S in the last few days I have just very recently started to lose my hair too but I don't think it'll be bad. In all honesty I am not too worried about it. There are far more things to be (more) worried about and with the crap I went thru last year - this is nothin' babeeee If losing my hair means I'm losing weight, getting healthier and becoming the person I feel like on the inside, so be it. It's short term and it'll grow back - losing weight far "outweighs" losing hair, IMHO. no worries my friend! You got this! Don't sweat the small stuff! Keep doing awesome Heather
  8. Another NSV..... I fit into size 14's now!!! Wahoooooo This has been a good week!
  9. I have never heard of this show until this topic... I'm glad about that! I won't watch it now, I'm too pissed just hearing about it!
  10. I'd like to help answer your question('s ??) But I don't understand what you're asking.. Can you rephrase or reword it?
  11. And the hair loss is starting. ... A great NSV to my fear coming true.... I already had major hair loss back in June and July due to my DRESS syndrome, now I get to experience it again. *sigh* Oh well.. hopefully it won't be too too bad. ???? Now to the gym I go to sweat my ass off!
  12. Hi Dub! Your NSV is pretty darn awesome as well! Doesn't it make you feel lighter on your feet?!! It actually makes me feel a little more energized and makes me want to push more and do more! It's a tingle of motivation! A boost of energy! You keep being awesome and keep up the fantastic work!
  13. Life is pretty darn good these days! Thanks everyone!! Each day I get little bursts of motivation by either compliments, NSV's or by reading all of your inspirational posts! I can't wait to hit my next big milestone (onederland!) - which I'm hoping within the week And then the next one - 100 lbs lost and so on!!! Let's keep kicking butt everyone! We are all in this together!!! ????
  14. 201 today Soooo close - hopefully hit my goal of 199.8 by next Monday!
  15. yep... a big Non-scale Victory happened to me today and I didn't get it. I had to get it explained to me. But once it was I haven't stopped smiling since! : ) So I went to Pennington's (a plus sized clothing store) today to buy some new panties and bras since I'm still wearing the ones from 72 pounds ago.. not a pretty picture, I know. I asked the sales lady to size me for new bras, so she did. this is how the conversation went: Saleslady: "so I think you're a DD36" Me: "oh no way am I a double D! I don't even think I'm a D" Saleslady: "Ok, so maybe a D36 then but we don't have any 36's" Me: "What do you mean you don't have any 36's? Like not in stock at the moment? When will you be getting more in?" Saleslady: "No we don't carry size 36's" Me: "I don't understand" Saleslady: "We don't carry that size, only 38 and up. I know that the lingerie store that is a few stores down from here is having a really good sale, you should go there for your bras and panties" Me: "Sooooo I don't need to shop here...?" Saleslady: "Yes, that's right, you're too small for this store" YES THAT IS ACTUALLY HOW THE CONVERSATION WENT!! I almost had to ask her to repeat it because it was very cool to hear!!! heeheeheeheeheeheehee I am too small for the Plus sized store! I can shop in regular stores! Even for lingerie! I was dumbfounded! (as you can tell by my side of the conversation) It totally made my day!!!!!! And another one to top it off was that a friend gave me a LARGE running jacket and I was going to put it in my closet not thinking that I would even get on... let alone do it up... and it FIT!!! I even zipped it up!! Did I mention it was a large??!! Just thought I'd share!! Today was a good day. hahaha If you got a NSV to share, please do! even a scale one! Aaaaaaannnnd GO! Keep being awesome BP friends! Heather
  16. That's so awesome!!! You're kicking butt!!!
  17. One thing I noticed is that you drink a lot of G2. There are some G2's that are extremely high in sugar. There's only 2 or 3 of them that are 6 gm or less - the rest are 30+ I'd have a look - who knows, maybe you're accidently consuming the wrong one! They all say "low sugar" or something to that effect but they actually aren't.
  18. Surgery date: September 21st 2015 Down: 70.8 lbs
  19. What's weird for me is the last few weeks my runners that I ALWAYS wear are too small and my big toes cramp up! It's so bad that I can't wear them. My toes are right to the edge and digging into the stitches. I have also found that my foot arches want to cramp up and charlie-horse every morning when I want to stretch. My calves do too! I wanna stretch darn it! Lol Off topic, sorry; but I guess I'm the odd one out - I think my feet got bigger!
  20. I wonder if it's on Netflix. ....!
  21. I'm from British Columbia Canada but went to Montreal for my RNY. My surgery was on Sept 21, 2015. I'm available if you have any questions or support or anything
  22. Congratulations!!! I'm so close I can taste it! 2.6 lbs away last time I checked
