Sweet Tooth
You may want to start your own thread with this question as it doesn't relate to the original topic and may not get answered. Good luck and I hope something works for you to get your journey kicked into gear again Plain greek yogurt with sugar free Jello or pudding powder in it. It is delish and I have it at least once a day! Orange is my fave with a couple orange segments in it! Yum

Cardio Machines At The Gym.
I am totally bored with them. So bored that I'd rather poke my eyes out. Especially the elliptical. Bor-ing! I'm at a new gym where they have alot of live and virtual classes. I find them awesome and motivating! I like the virtual more so than the live. I do the spin, body pump, body combat, and Zumba classes! They make me sweat buckets and I feel amazing afterwards! And they range between 30-60 minutes so everyday I'm getting in my exercise goals and it doesn't feel like I lost a bazillion years! And I love doing stuff outside. I'll never get bored of hiking or biking outside

how many calories at 6 months post op
Wow, maybe I'm not eating enough???!!! I'm 4 months (and 1 week) post op - and I eat between 700-900 calories a day. Mostly around 700 tho. And this is whether I workout or not. As per my fitbit, I burn anywhere between 300 and 700 calories during my workouts. (I have a Fitbit Surge, its the top of its class and one where it tracks your heart rate, so I think my calories burned during exercise is pretty accurate) Or is 700-(sometimes up to) 900 on key, too much or too low? Thanks in advance. Oh more info on me RNY -Sept 21/15 No stalls as of yet (knock on wood!) Lost 68 lb so far and all post op (didn't have a pre op)

If this wasn't so pathetic it would be hilarious
I met my hubby thru a dating service. Not an online one - the kind where you go into an office and look thru a binder of people's profiles. Yeah.... it was a looooong time ago! Lol Maybe even before online dating sites existed!(?) Had a few crazies before I found 'the one' Keep trying Sharon!

The Best Thing About Gastric Bypass for me---
When did you have your surgery? I too was super excited about never being hungry.... But the last month or so I get super bad stomach aches around 2-4ish... I thought it was from sitting all day and built up air. It was only a few days ago that it dawned on me that it's because I'm hungry! It's a different kind of hunger pain, that's why it took me so long to figure it out. I'm 4 months out. As soon as I realized this and ate a small snack during this time - the pains resolved. Weird, I know. Lol I felt kinda silly for not realizing it sooner! Good luck to you. Hopefully you'll never get hungry again!

Army
Cool! Good for you! But just one question.... Why does the Army need to know about your sleeve surgery? What does this have anything to do with cooking for them? I'm just curious, I really don't know.

Well I never thought this would happen...
It'll be fine. If you can't wear you own underwear, I'm sure they'll give you mesh panties and you can use whatever you normally use during your cycle. Besides, being a nurse. .. we deal with and see everything. Like, everything. So it'll be totally fine. The docs and nurses will be professional about it and if there is any kind of leakage... it'll be cleaned up just like anything else without a bat of an eye. No worries

Who's still around?
To lwagner: I'd say the original poster is some serious inspiration! To OP: you have just lit me up! I'm in awe of your post! It is a huge booster! Not that I'm in a rut or anything, it was just super pumping to read! I even saved some parts of what you said so I can go back and get re-revved up LOL The part about it's not about being skinny, it's about being free. That got me. And about being at peace. That also got me. Thank you. I hope you stay and keep us newbies, not-so-newbies, maintence(ies) and veteran(ies) in check and motivated. Never lose your beautiful mindset on your new(ish) life. Any validity for multiple fitbit units ?
Dear Goof: To use your ONE to track sleep you hold down the little button until it's timing. Turn it on when you lay down for the night and turn it off (the same way) when you're ready to get out of bed the next morning Rise and shine!! Yours truly, Bo Beather P.S. I wore my ONE clipped to my ???? or ???? (closest I could get to a BRA lol) for 2.5 years straight without it ever falling off.... just a little FYI for your goofy self. ☺

Do you use tools like My Fitness Pal, Fitbit, etc?
Mfp and fitbit! I use both religiously.

Any validity for multiple fitbit units ?
You can track your sleep with the ONE. It should've come with a wrist strap... unless they don't anymore..? And why not wear your fitbit ONE attached to the rim of your pants? Or attached to the inside of a pocket? This way you will be wearing it at all times. If you do a lot of walking at work, (which I think I remember you saying you do) then it would be interesting to see how much walking you do during your shift.
