How do I tell my surgeon he screwed up?
The whole point of surgery IS so that you will be satisfied with just one egg Then why do they put TWELVE in the carton!?!?!??!! So you can be satisfied 12 times Oh!! That sounds fantastically dirty!! Excuse me while i go buy some eggs

Frustrated
Meaning I either feel like I am not eating enough and my body goes into starvation mode and hoards everything or I eat to much and that is why I am not losing.... Well what does it say in the guidelines you were given? What was the amount they told you to eat

Robe or Jammie's?
I would say neither. Just use the gown they give you. They will be checking your incisions and other things so it will be easier. But do bring some soft comfy clothes to go home in

How do I tell my surgeon he screwed up?
Is it possible your sugeon messed up? Of course it's possible they are only human, mistakes can happen. Is it likely? Probably not. I can definately understand some of the outrage people are having in this post. Most of us have struggled with diet and weight loss and with surgery are trying to make lifelong changes to the way we eat and approach food. Putting a huge piece of meat pn your plate is an act that should not be part of the new healthy lifestyle we are all trying to live. But yes if you were able to eat that much it could mean something is off. From my experience if I eat one bite more than I should I will throw up

Realistic
You could be equally successful with the sleeve. I have lost 175 lbs and still loosing
-
Realistic
Do you mean you need to loose 125 or you want your weight to be 125? Your goal will depend on a lot of things like your starting weight, your height and others.

PCOS Sleevers-getting pregnant
There is a board on this site specifically about post op pregnancy. There might be some posts there about this. I have seen people say that after loosing weight they were able to get pregnant. Actually my team advised me to get extra birth control post op because they say people tend to become more fertile soon after surgery

I am taking a cruise
If you have surgery in December you will probably feel fine for the cruise in January. But you will probably still be on some form of a sodt diet so dealing with food there might be tricky

How do I tell my surgeon he screwed up?
Yes see if you can get the test done to see how large your sleeve really is. But if yiu could eat that much something seems off

How do I tell my surgeon he screwed up?
He should not accuse you of stretching because you can't stretch your sleeve

Question about post op
I didn't really need help. Sudden movements hurt a little and bending over was a big no. I did request my husband to be in the bathroom while I showered for the first time because I was weak and a little afraid I would get dizzy and fall but I was fine

Spasms and cramping
You definately don't want to do too much too fast right after surgery. You are still healing. Also you are all swollen inside so your sleeve is extra small right now.
-
Spasms and cramping
Wow 3 days post op i was barely able to get an 8oz protein shake in over the course of the whole day

Can I eat this?
I like my tuna on a cucumber slice or in a hollowed out tomato
-
Deli meat
one of my favorite snacks is rolling up some deli meat and cheese around a pickle spear. I don't really worry about the sodium because I'm only eating much of it

Gotta Get Off the RNY vs. Sleeve Seesaw: Heads or Tails, help me out!
It all depends on how much weight you have to lose. If you are in the higher weight ranges, the RNY might be better. The Sleeve is a bit easier but then it's easier to cheat which could cause you from losing all the weight you need to lose. I had the Sleeve 2 1/2 years ago and I love it. I still have restriction and it's just so easy. The bad thing is that I have horrible gastric reflux and meds are not helping. I am scheduled for a revision to a RNY bypass in August. They are both tools, they both work but the RNY is malabsorbtive, which could cause dumping and there is the issue of taking Vitamins the rest of my life. Ah well.... Good luck to you. it's not easier to cheat...if your mind is set on cheating you will cheat regardless of the surgery.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life 2016 Season
If she did have surgery it might help shed some of the negative stigma...if she showed the struggles and how surgery is not "cheating"

Drinking/Eating
This is something you should discuss with your surgeon since everyone has differebt plans. It's really not a good idea to have more than a couple of sips while you eat. That's what i do

Happiness with overall total weight loss so far?
You are not a failure. You lost 300 lbs. That's amazing
-
8-10% regain?
Yes of course some people regain. But it's probably because they went back to making unhealthy choices. But that should not discourage you from surgery.
