  5. Thank you. I have started a list. I just went shopping on Amazon for all my Vitamins. Also bought a food scale that goes lower than my current one. Next on my list.... slippers and food lol.

  7. @@beyondgrief Thank you! Any handouts help. I will look through it.
  8. @@KristenLe No - but I think I am going to make one. I don't want to start off on the wrong foot. I have a heart condition and was seeing their nutritionist during preop stuff so I didn't have to see the one at the bariatric clinic.
  9. @@beyondgrief There idea of "examples" was 1 oz Protein, 1 oz starch for Breakfast (1 oz yogurt, 1 oz oatmeal). It is just to vague to me. What if I buy the wrong yogurt or oatmeal?? lunch example 1oz protein, 1 oz veggie (1 oz cream Soup, 1 oz v8 juice). dinner 1oz protein 1 oz fruit (1 oz sugar free pudding, 1 oz grape juice).
  10. I went to my presurgery appointment today. I am scheduled for the sleeve on 6/29. They went over diet, Vitamins, what to expect, etc.... The packet of information they gave me is SO overwhelming. I am a black and white person, and all these options are driving me insane. I don't know where to start with what to buy to have at home for when I get home from surgery... my surgeon does a clear/full liquid diet. I don't know which vitamins to buy, each type of Vitamin has several options! This almost makes me want to not have surgery, I feel like I am already failing.
  11. I had my gallbladder out over a year ago. I am preop still. Funny story thought first time I went to the ER they told me my bra was too tight and the underwire was hurting me lol. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  20. I was wondering if the gas pain is similar to gallbladder surgery. I had my gallbladder out and the gas pain sucked but it was tolerable. I did not take any gas x strips or anything. Is sleeve surgery similar? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. Hello! I was just wondering if anyone has pcos and has been sleeved and was able to get pregnant later on down the road. I have a 3 year old but we had to go through fertility treatments to get him. I am hoping it will be much easier once I am sleeved and at goal weight when we try again. I know this won't be till at least a year post op, just wondering if anyone has been able to. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  24. Nope. Found out mine is on hold due to my heart condition and they have to get my cardiologists ok. My cardiologist just left the practice on 4/29 lol.... So not sure what's going on now. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
