  1. I'm back at work 8 weeks out, and I started drinking decaf. Can I count that as part of my water intake? Also I poured my protein shake in my coffee too, pretty tasty.
  2. Awesome you look great!!
  3. I think my hair has gotten thinner. I normally have hard to manage curly hair which I staighten, not very well but I straighten. I noticed the straight is taking, staying straight for longer periods and also feels a bit thinner. I think i notice. Idk...have noticed long strands here and there. Idk but my hair feels very different. Like it more manageable lol
  4. I buy them wherever they are cheapest. Dollar general has great vitamins. They run $2-$5 or costco. Get a ton for $10, $12 bucks. But costco does not carry all that I need or the dosages I need. Just some. the multivitamin for sure.
  5. It gets better sweetie. I was in excruciating pain for 2 weeks. Once the 3rd week hit, pain was GONE. hang in there
  6. My doc said fine. I been on fish oil since about week 3.
  7. Have you considered the possibility that you are under estimating how much you would've eaten verses now? Reason I ask is what you're describing seems pretty small to me. Im pre op and lets say I made what you said for Breakfast, wich I do pretty regularly, I would've had probably 4-5 ounces of ham, 2 eggs, 1 slice of cheese, and 2 pieces of bread. And I wouldnt have been "stuffed" either. Maybe surgery has changed what you think is alot is actually not? Just wondering.very very true!!!! I'm eating almost 800 calories a day it seems on NOTHING and i feel offle and i feel like I'm eating to much. Today for example I had: 2 Protein shakes, 1/2 cup of pistachios, 4 tablespoons of hummus and 12 pita crackers. That's it. And I see myself as eating a cow. And that is 830 calories for today and I'm only 7 weeks out. I think you are exactly right!!!
  8. If it's sugar free, why not??? Idk if we are actually allowed that, I don't see why not. Switching to sugar free EVERYTHING is quite an accomplishment itself. I'm gonna ; ) 1/2 cup factored into my day and calorie plan. Why not
  9. oh wow : ( I didn't have a bulge just pain. Glad they figured it out
  10. Yup very normal. It was almost excruciating for me. 2 weeks. Once the 3rd week hit, it was GONE and I no longer had to sleep on back.

  12. Sugar free Crush packets-strawberry!!! And Grape!! Got them at the 99cents store. God thier good!! And believe me I've tried EVERYTHING
  13. I couldn't sleep on my sides for 2 weeks. It was miserable.
  14. Ask them to give you some meds for the nausea. I'm surprised they haven't already. Get well! ; (
  15. Thank you. Yes I have a ton of vintage stuff. When my mom passed, I got all her stuff and what she had from my grandma. Thank you <3 Thank you!!!
  16. This scale is a about 70 years old, still works was my grandmother's. Sure worked when I was 250!! Wow, I'M UNDER 200 POUNDS!!! 6 weeks out. I'm so grateful..
  17. I like this knowing the calories to go by to loose, maintain and gain! Any idea what mine will be?I'm 5'4, not soo old, 37. I'd like to have a little quideline like that. Your average resting metabolism (RMR) is1760 calories according to this calculator. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/calrmr.htmMany factors affect RMR. Thank you!!
  18. Wow wow wow!! All these success stories!! I can't wait!! I THINK I might be 199 on the morning Congrats!!
  19. I feel like I nibbled all day today. 6 weeks out and this week is when I really really starting eating different things. I thought about it too. In fact I feel like I want to eat now, but im not. I'm a newbie at this too but from what I understand on here the more you start eating, you can taper down on the shakes and add up the protein you've eaten. I have yet to try that. I know I don't eat enough for 60 grams of protein but maybe 25/30 which would only require me to drink 1 shake instead of 2. Maybe take away 1 shake I think u can do that if your averaging 75-95 a day. That would bring the protein(and calories) down to about 60, 65 grams of protein a day. Try it : )
  20. I told EVERYONE!! I'm not a good liar so when I return Monday 40 lbs lighter, I will rejoice with them. Lieing is not one of my gifts : / or I would have. I did want to tell anyone but I know me. I would have felt like they knew anyway and knew I was lieing. Out 6 weeks, 40 pounds less lol. I even thought to say it was my gallbladder but my luck my gallbladder will need to be removed upon my return lol You don't have to tell... you do what's right for you.
