I'm one week out from surgery, had such nausea trying to drink my fluids, when I finally tried ice chips. I can get my fluids down when I suck on ice chips, of course they melt before I swallow. Does anyone one know if that's a big no, no. I was told no extreme temperatures but I consider getting my fluids in more important! Any thoughts?
I'm one week out from having my VSG, dr told me to sleep at a 45 degree for 4-6 weeks? Was that the case for anyone else? I'm glad I already had an adjustable bed but it still does not make it easy to sleep! Any thoughts?
Has anyone tried and like the Celebrate brand bariatric vitamins. I ordered a sample pack. They taste good. Just trying to get down what I like the best so I can get in all my supplements.
Thanks Mcgann320, the drinking has gotten a lot better. Everyday I'm feeling better. My good friend made me some homemade chicken bone broth, and that was delicious and I feel like it was healing for in insides! ????
Hi everyone, just had my surgery Tues. June 9, I do feel better when I walk, I still seem to need anti-nauseous medicine and pain medicine for one of the incisions that was deep. My question I feel like I can't get my liquids in even with small sips will that get better, feel like I'm going to throw up?
