  1. agree agree agree. I have a huge jug of the EAS(i think thats the name) chocolate powder I have yet to try. I'll let ya know if that's good too : )
  2. I looove premier protein shakes they are very good
  3. I hate to do this but this is the PRE-OP diet you are referring to?? Well, that diet will continue after surgery plus PAIN if you get pain. I had pain for 2 weeks it was terrible, more like miserable. I was hungry, wanted to CHEW, only could lay flat on my back for 2 weeks. But once the 3rd week hit...pain what pain? Awesome!! So hang in there gonna suffer for a little while, but like she said it will pass I had bypass, not sure about sleeve** Oh and premier protein shakes are delicious
  4. Apparently normal. First 2 weeks lost 25. 3rd week nothing, now 4th week dropped 3 more. It's normal : )
  5. same exact experience as far as the pain and sleeping on my back. Once the 3rd week started, my pain was GONE and could sleep on my sides. : ))
  6. Don't forget to use that breathing thing they send us home with to especially since you are feeling that way
  7. Probably..I haven't experienced it yet myself i don't think, but sounds like it. To my knowledge supposed to be on clear liquids for first 3 weeks. That wouldn't be milk of any kind.
  8. Today is my 3 weeks out. I've lost 25lbs in the first 2 weeks. This 3rd week, stayed exactly the same? Why... Secondly, I'm on puree now. Do I HAVE to eat 4 tablespoon meals 4-5 times a day??? Do I have to? Or can I just have 1 or 2 meals and continue with my shakes if I feel like it that day? Thank you for your thoughts and help : )
  9. It will get better. I had bypass 8/13 and the pain is barely starting to lighten up. Keep your chin up. We had major surgery and it's gonna take time. You will be happy once the pain starts subsiding and you see those results!!! Hang in there : ))
  10. Feel better hunny : ( I'm only 2 weeks out so I'm still in my struggle, but I was in a lot of pain as well. It was offle. Still have my moments but better. Sip your water and it will get better.
  11. I had a lot of pain too. Still do. I'm 2 weeks out. It is lessening though so keep your chin up. That burning, pulling, tearing pain still occurs if I move the wrong way, but not so frequent. It was constant pain and paralazing pain i had. Hope you feel better.
  12. I'm thinking of having a tiny sip and couple sips....im 2 weeks out.
  13. Guilty. Licked cheetoo puffs. : / it's natural to feel like that. Not eating anything for weeks is really hard. I've done pretty well. I'm 2 weeks out. One more week and I move to puree
  14. I'm 13 days out, still can't sleep on my sides : ( in had bypass not sleeve, but still can't sleep on my sides. Back only and it's sucks lol
  15. I feel you. It's almost like we have to defend our decision. Most of the people I did tell were so happy for which me, which told me they know I'm big. Few people were trying to talk me out of it. Didn't listen, 13 days out : )) Who cares what they say. Don't tell anyone unless you want to. I've told who I wanted, everyone else will just have to wonder.
  16. Oh gosh ok thank you. I have my 2 week follow up Thursday so I'll ask about that. Gotta say though, yesterday morning through today, hardly no pain. I'm moving real sloww getting up or on my bed which was when hurt the most for me.
  17. Ok, i haven't had any pain for 2 days. What I've done is get up and down from bed verrrry sloww. It's working. Yes the pain is by the biggest incision then radiates down and to my belly button. I wish u all to get well ; )
  18. Aww I hope you do to. Today was a good day. Yesterday was a terrible painful day. It will get better they say, hang in there
  19. Ok thank you. From what I read it's very normal but myyy goodness when it hurts, it hurts.
  20. Hi all, I'm new to this site and well in having the gastric bypass. I had my gastric bypass 8/13/15. My question is, do you experience a burning, pulling pain on the left side of your stomach from the belly button on? It paralyzes me a times : (( I called my doc and said sounds totally normal, just sounds muscular. Just wanna see if anyone has some experience on this. Thank you, Veronica
