The only thing that should be white in that photo is her dog!She set herself up for that...she is a celebrity ...she knows better.She has enough money to have a personal trainer etc...,so of course she is going to get it!!!!She is still much slimmer...than she used to be....she has resources ...

I know Dr.Prokurat he is wonderful.He removed my gallbladder...at CentraState...in freehold...fantastic... Oh yeah and he is handsome and dapper...and the accent...yes,yes!!!

I had a bit of a pushback from my PCP...she said the bariatric doctor hadn't got approval from insurance company so why am I going to cardiologist ,pulmonary etc....I have to get referrals from her so she is too busy bodied.Anyway I had my first NUT last week,I see the cardiologist tomorrow and the pulmonary in 2 weeks.I have to pay out of pocket for the Psych,Gastroenterologist...done.Trying to move things along quickly. As soon as I get clearances from all...then we will submit

So what is the next step? Did you go all liquid diet before surgery ?

I am revising from the lap band to....RNY ...final decision.I was going with the sleeve until I did my research and RNY is my decision.Do your research and ...listen to your dr....I didn't the first time so here I am 15 years later...finally RNY .

Your sleeve is like my band....never really worked...I have PCOS and insulin resistance...the only thing that will work for us is The RNY....really No other WLS is gonna do it.

OMG...4 hours?You need to get back to that hospital...why were you released.Also demand that he get his " tired ass " back with another physician.I want him to repeat what he said to you with a witness...another medical professional.Hope you are still in hospital...if not go to ER so it is documented and they need to read it you....raise hell.Dont let this go your well being is the most important.Document everything and start looking up a lawyer ASAP.Get back or stay in the hospital. Re-admit you...sorry typo

Good..It is important to research.Sleeve or RNY either a good choice.

Went to a NUT...she said Lapbandvproblems is rampant...all kinds of complications .Many of her patients have all sorts of problems. Not just me!!!

Have you had surgery yet?

Take it easy...my friend had the sleeve and went to the ER the second week...took awhile...be careful to not aggravate while healing......she is 2 months post op and doing great....eat soft...you have to adjust....take care.

Yes with my first surgery I had Aetna.l would get that out of the way or prepare to....

Let me cut to the chase...Lapband is a living nightmare.I have had it since 2004...I was going for a revision to the sleeve but this is my 2nd and last WLS and I have decided to go with RNY....it allows you to lose the amount you need and if you are like me I don't have the time to lose a little?.i want the proven Gold Standard with the history of success and data....Do yourself a favor and research....I thought it was the band...then then the sleeve...finally I have it RNY.I am a few pounds shy of 300 no time to play games..RNY....but it's your choice.
