Apple, I sooo agree with you I been wanting to slap the shit out of Tanisha's ignorant ass since about the 1st or 2nd episode. If I hear her say "I'm from Brooklyn" one more time I swear I'm gonna loose it. I mean nothing agaunst Brooklyn, but just because that's where she's from it does not give her the right to act like an ignorant ass b*tch. I'm sure that not everyone from Brooklyn acts like that. I swear evertime she opens her mouth I cringe.

I was laughin when I watched that because I recongized everyone of the shows immediately. Damn, those were the good ol' days before work and college and responsibility.

I am not banded yet however I just got off of Depo and was on it for 6 years. And a lot of people complain of weight gain when you first start it but it is supposed to pretty much stabilize after the second shot. I know I gained like 15 lbs between the first and second shot and lost all of it between the second and third. And at the time I wasn't really doing anything to try to loose weight. Lots of my friends who are on it had similar weight changes when they first started.

Yea, I love to watch drama, but try to keep my own life drama free.

I love heels especially stilletos and wear them pretty much everyday. I will say though in the last couple of months my feet have been hurting. Which has never happened in the past. So I can't wait to drop a few more pounds so hopefully the foot pain will go away.

I am going through Jewish Hospital Weight Management (Dr. Fegelman) .... I will be submitting everything to the insurance on Friday and hope to have an approval shortly after, so I can schedule a surgey date which will be for 2-4 weeks after I get the approval. I'm so excited because I feel like I am in the home stretch now!!!

From what I understand not all doctors/ insurance companies require it. Mine was almost a joke. Questions like; do you want to kill yourself (no), do you hate yourself (no), do you or have you had an eating disorder (no), are you sad or do you cry alot (no), do you understand what the surgery is (yes) I mean really if I had some sort of problem do you not think I could figure out how to answer these questions. So really there was no point to it except to charge my insurance company LOL

I just got home from having my psych eval. She told me that everything seemed fine. I still have to go for my final appointment of my six months of medically supervised on Friday which is when everything will be submitted to the insurance company. But after my eval she was explaining the pre and post op procedure as far as appointments and diet. I ask her if she thought the insurance company would approve me and she said based on my chart and the fact that I have stuck with the six months. she things I will get approved. I can't wait until Friday when everything gets submitted. I think I will call the insurance company on Monday to "check the status" of everything. So my question is how long did it take you to get approved after submitting everything to your insurance company?

Hi my name is Nikki. I am 23 and from OH. I have not been banded yet. But I go for my psych eval today and the last visit of my six months of "medically supervised diet" on Friday at which point all of my paper work will be sunmitted to the insurance company. I am crossing my fingers for a speedy approval. I am a college student and work full time. I love clubbin', shopping, and reading.

I'm 5'5" and my overall goal is to be like 130-135. But right now at 260 and size 22/24 i would be happy to just be below 200.
