  1. Texas good luck with work. And I love the tube things(fruit punch is my favorite). Usually I just sip on it for about an hour. They also have ones that are 45 grams of Protein. you can find them on GNC website. I think they come in fruit punch and peach. I Also really like the carnation instant breakfast(sugar-free of course). I usually have one of those in the morning with a scoop of unjury-unflavored and two cups of milk. I think it turns out to be about 30 g of protein and it does not taste bad at all. Has anyone been walking? I've been walking every day but I think I pushed myself to hard yesterday. I really felt sore last night. I am still trying to figure out how much i can do at this point.
  2. Busy- I bought this thing from GNC that look like a tube shots and they are called ProteinSlam and made by cnp professional. It is only 2.9 oz and has 27 grams of protein in one. So you get a lot of protein in and it is only 3 oz. I am trying to space my protein out try to get protein in every two hours or so to try to keep my energy level up. I know you said you had trouble getting all that fluid in so maybe something like that may help.
  3. I was also banded on the 20th and I came home yesterday. I am not feeling to bad just little sore. I am not really hungry so I have to keep reminding myself to keep sipping to get my 64 oz. of fluids and 64 oz. of protein in.
  4. My date is March 20th also and I can't wait... I am counting down the days =)
  5. Ok, so I have a question for all you who have been banded and like to go out. I love going out with friends. I go to bars and parties or where ever we can have a good time. When I go out I do enjoy the occasional drink but am mostly there for the social environment. I am ok with giving up the alcohol, but I was wondering how you felt post-band about going out or if you had any negative/positive experiences with it. All comments and advice are welcomed.
  6. Hey everyone! My name is Lauren and Delaware. Not banded yet but I'm currently in the process of waiting to get a surgery date. I am hoping to get a date in March so I can recover over my spring break (I don't want to miss too many classes) =) So far I am really excited to move on to this new phase of my life, but just a bit nervous.
