  2. @@chrisredjeep Great to hear you have your date and not too far away ! @rosieuk Thanks for the tip re whole foods.. I will make sure I remember that site for later. As a side note I have ordered a few coconut waters with added Protein (I tried one first and loved it). I tend to drink a lot of coconut Water and loved it. Even got 20% off today as its Fathers Day and they were doing a promotion - Discount Suppliments (they are also sold in Holland and Barret and tried it from there first) 4 weeks and counting.. I am getting excited now! Kate

  4. Congratulations for keeping strong and focused to be what you want to be !! Such an amazing and inspiring journey and woman. Well Done :D Kate
  5. You can do 50/50 with juice and Water. I guess its trial and error as to what works for you but I wouldn't have it full strength. Has to be juice with no 'bits' in it. Kate
  6. Congratulations !! You look great Kate
  7. I have looked into Premier Protein but the shipping costs twice the product price so thats a no from me ! I only want to look into shakes for the first few weeks/months until I can start buiding up food. Are there any UK based people who may be able to help? Kate
  8. I was actually thinking of splitting the drinks into 4 meals a day (I wasn't clear about that, apologies) but I really appreciate the advice @wascott and @GreenEyes604. I will look into the powders a little more as they seem to be less carbs. I am glad I only bought one chocolate and one strawberry Thanks again for the help Kate
  9. Best wishes for a smooth surgery and great recovery. It's good that you have your cousin to buddy up with Kate
  10. I have been researching Protein drinks and found Muscle Milk Low Carb. I have bought a couple of flavours but was wondering about the carb to protein ratio. Is the following okay as I am thinking about having this pre op and post op when I can too? 500 mls 43g protein 14.7 carbs 237 K calories If i had two a day (pre op) and broth for the last meal would this be enough? Kate
  11. Just wanted to say congrats on your loss.. Amazing Kate
  12. @@DreamsComeTrue15 -- Onwards and upwards, every day will hopefully be easier for you. Congratulations!! Kate
  13. Good luck to everyone starting the pre op plan. I start in 2 weeks, so I am sure I will be here crying by day 3 lol. Hugs Kate
  14. He has said a lot of crap like that. He has his own forum on Facebook. The final straw for me was when a girl said....why am I still stalled. His reply was "don't worry, you will break the stall just like you broke my table from you high bmi...which I am still paying for and the hospital reminds me of everyday. " In a public post, in a public forum, for all to see. Nothing he has said to anyone so far has been helpful. So I just went off on my own. Wow what a charmer
  15. Smooth Move tea is very good. I need to drink it at night and it works first thing in the morning ( I have always suffered with bouts of constipation) Kate

  21. Great advice Jamie logical .. Thank you
  22. @ I would agree with what you say - I did a 40 day cleanse (fast) once and the first 7-10 days were awful but I felt great from 10 - 40 days. I had to drink double my daily dose and I drink a lot of Water (in fact thats the one thing I am not looking forward to after the sleeve... from others here, it's difficult getting down the amount of Fluid they recommend, especially in the beginning. Drink drink drink water and I am sure it will really help @@Nancy W Kate
  23. @@ReaderGirl : thank you Kate
  24. My date is 23rd July and I will be doing a 14 day Meal Replacement diet (drinks like slimfast) rather than following the diet I have been given by the Bariatric group. They did say the meal plan or slimfast, so in a lot of ways I am taking the easier option. Im astounded to see some people not even having to do even a days restriction on food. Kate
