July sleevers - Sistema BPA Free
I have purchased the sistema BPA free storage system today ( I got them from Waitrose in the uk as they are on offer - half price ) for my small meals after having the sleeve. I bought 3 x 2 pots of 5.7oz containers (great for fruit and greek yogurt) - pic here but I got the bigger sizes (but still tiddily lol) drinks you need to mix http://sistemaplastics.com/products/to-go/700ml-shaker-to-go And finally http://sistemaplastics.com/products/to-go/soup-and-noodle-2-pack They are great and perfect sizes !! Hope it might interest some - Kate

Anxiety July Sleevers!
I'm 5 weeks away and very excitied. Just want it to be tomorrow but when it is, I am sure I will be nervous. I was hoping to drive to the hospital and be first on the list but found out today I am due to have the op in the afternoon. Ba humbug! Each day is a day we can learn more and I know everyone is different but its good to hear all the different thoughts and experiences in order to prepare ourselves. Kate

New and so glad I found this site !
@C2CFOREVER I take Vitamin tablets daily and have done for the past year or so and the consultant was very happy with that. I know there is a vast difference in what others do before their op so I can only go off what I am told. I was advised to carry on taking them and then once post op to take liquid Vitamins for the first few weeks. I have ordered Centrum Advance Liquid, it's more expensive for the month than tablets (£20) but I guess I want to just make sure it goes down easily enough! Hope this helps. Kate

How long did you take time off before going back to work....
@@Veronica Page .. yes, must admit to not being someone who stays at home for long. I slipped 3 disc's in my neck in 2012 and only had 3 days off. Looking back I was silly and wouldn't be rushing back again. At least its lighter days/nights and my youngest son who's 17 will be at home (once school finishes). Thanks for the good luck ! Kate

How long did you take time off before going back to work....
I have a fairly stressful job although I am very laid back and look in control most of the time (Think duck gliding on top of the river all calm and serene but peddling like mad under the Water lol !!) I am hoping to go back after 2 weeks - How long did you stay off? I don't want to put more pressure on the team once schools finish for the summer etc (my 4 are all grown up) but I don't want to go back until I feel well enough too. Kate

A good hurt...
@@dhrguru that's great ! I bet you both had a smile on your face during the bike ride. How about getting him to set goals along the way for you and that way he will be supportive and keep you on track. Bike ride now: 1 month: a new outfit for you and a treat for him. 2 months: a hike 3 months: go swimming 4 months: and so on How old is he? Kate
