Yep I felt the same way! Been divorced for over 10 years. Never thought it would take me this long to find love again.

I saved a lot of money and still do. I don't eat out much unless I'm with my family and then it's mainly sharing their food. I work at a casino so my meals are there and I don't have to buy food so that saves me even more money. I mainly spend money on my days off to eat and that's not much as it is. Going from at least $20 a day for food to maybe $20 a week if I splurge is a great savings. I did have to spend money on clothes but only bought 5 shirts and two pair of jeans since I know I will not bee in those sizes very long. I didn't want to waste a bunch of money on clothes. Now looking at them I am going to have to size down again which is great.

I have been on a couple dates and have let them know I had surgery prior to actually meeting. This way when we meet up for dinner they already knew why I barely touched my food. Being a big guy still it's kinda obvious that something is up when I can't eat much. They have been cool with it and I really don't hide the fact I had surgery. I did it to improve my health and if anyone objects to it then it's their problem.

I finished my half marathon this morning! Not only did I survive, but I finished over a minute faster than I'd trained for. My goal was to finish in under three hours. My training pace would have me finishing in about 2:45, but I finished in 2:43:44, which is especially impressive when you factor in that it took me about three minutes just to get up to the start line once the horn blew, because it was so crammed with people and I didn't even have room to start running until I was a good 25 yards past the start line. So here's all the proof you've been waiting for:

Right before the start... it was only 35 degrees out, so I wore the jacket until the last possible second, then handed it off to my husband.

This year is a year of change for me. I got sleeved in February and lost over 100lbs so far. I am feeling better and can do things I couldn't do for years. With that said, sadly I am feeling very lonely still. My birthday is coming up next month and I will be 39 and alone. Another year that way and it sucks. Hopefully as I keep losing and things get better, my situation will change. It would just be nice to find someone to share this life with.

There needs to be a dating site, these other sites are crap. Just need to meet a nice woman with same interests...where are they! haha

I am totally into 600lb life featuring Dr. Nowzaradan so I was curious if anyone knows or has a copy of the diet plan he sends home with his patients after he sees them for the first time. He expects large weight loss, in a month or two so I am curious as to what the diet plan consists of.

Sadly I don't know anyone who could use them . If I did I'd just give them away. I just realized I have a bag somewhere with more clothes that don't fit. Lol

Reminds me of a joke. A university of Texas guy was at the beach, and noticed this guy from OU was getting all the girls. He asked what his secret was. The OU guy told him "wear a tight bathing suit, but put a potato in it."
