"I know someone who just died after having it done just a year ago" (turns out after she lost all her weight she only drank beer and smoked cigarettes and ate very little and it was junk. She poisoned and starved herself).
"My mothers housekeepers daughter is very ill and they don't expect her to make it after her surgery." (Was more than a year down the road and her illness wasn't related to the surgery at all).

I haven't read all of the comments but I just want to say that nothing in this world can devastate a person like someone cheating on them. The pain and heartache you are causing to your husband who has stood beside you is something you couldn't possibly comprehend. At least not yet. I believe in karma and the law of attraction. You will get back what you give out. If you hurt you will be hurt. The fact that you posted this on a public forum with your picture after saying he doesn't know you have cheated does indicate that you don't care if he knows. Be careful. You may not realize it but you are being used by all these other men just like you are using them. I say stop cheating. You are married. Get divorced and then play the field all you want. But don't mislead people. You know what they say.... Karma's a bitch, especially when you're being one.

Hi, I would very much like all of us to publish who your surgeon was and at what facility you received your sleeve? I would hope this information will be of importance for all the future visitors to the site in helping them make a decision and hoping to relieve some stress in picking a doctor. Please post your information.
I saw a similar post from 2010 and I thought some updated information would be good.

I think @@Djmohr has given you very good advice and I also suggest you contact your bariatric team ASAP and let them know about your blood sugar numbers and see what they advise. I hope you feel better soon and get a handle on your blood sugar fluctuations.

Yes. I definately have this problem and have had to learn how to control it. It becomes a problem if you begin eating more carbs and it can be a vicious circle.
I started getting it when I began eating cream of wheat with some sugar in it for Breakfast. It can be a pretty scary situation if you don't recognize the symptoms and have something prepared to deal with it.
I talked to my Bariatric team about it when it started happening and they suggested that if I am going to have cream of wheat for Breakfast, I need to have a Protein rich snack about an hour later.
That definately does the trick for me but anytime I start letting to many simple carbs or sugar in I start having trouble with it again and once it starts for the day it can be hard to get it under control. I keep glucose tablets close by.
I would say recently in the last few month I seemed to have gotten a better handle on it but my sugar has gotten as low as 36 before I figured out what was happening. it happens very fast and it can be confusing so I have found it best to limit sugar for me.
I did read that there have been some instances where someone had such a bad case they had to have their surgery reversed. I never want that to happen to me.

I have been slacking for over a month. Eating whatever I want, whenever I want. I am so done not eating right. I know I have gained weight. I haven't weighed because I have been scared to. I know I have gained weight. I am sitting here at a baseball game and I feel like crap. I have eaten too much today and consumed too much sugar over the last two months. My clothes don't fit right. And I am feeling tired all of the time. And just don't have any energy. So done living this way.
    I start tomorrow.
    Going to:
    Track my food
Charge and wear my fit bit
    Drink my Water
    Take my Vitamins
Walk more... Not sure when but find a way to get my steps in
    Get my balanced diet in
    Keep healthy Snacks handy
    No more:
    Excess sugar
    Fried foods
    Excess bread
My goal is to make it to 150 pounds and a size 10 clothes.
My mom has Alzheimer's and I have been helping take care of her in the midst of an already busy schedule. Her thing is sweets. And she asks literally every 2 minutes if I want some. I have to find a way around that.

Hi everyone! I have been on the site for nearly a year and single for about four months so I have decided to check out the singles forum. I have tried the online dating sites. I have met some nice people and a few nuts. I am from Texas and 52. I have lost 100 pounds and my body looks like is melting...lol. That's something that doesn't come up in many date conversations.

AustinJackson sent me an email days ago trying to discredit Dr Lopez. He knew from previous posts I have chosen Dr Jesus Martin Lopez as my surgeon. Good thing I am used to dealing with criminals In my profession. Verify... Then act. I am confident in my decision and will be in TJ on June 15! Excited to begin this journey

I reached 70 pounds lost this morning and I wanted to post a few photos for those considering WLS. I am five months post op and I had a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy in Tijuana Mexico. I used Dr Jesus Martin Lopez. He and his staff were amazing. I booked my surgery through BariatricPal and they were also wonderful. I have had no problems and I can tolerate 90% of what I eat. Every now and then I have something that doesn't agree with me. This doesn't mean I can never have it, I just wait and try later. It simply meant it wasn't time to have it yet. I attribute my lack of complications to Dr Lopez. He did an amazing job and is truly a talented surgeon.
The surgery is simply a tool. The biggest contributing factor to success is mental. I was ready mentally and prepared to NOT make food a priority in my life. I was ready and willing to give up whatever food I needed to make this work and to give it up for the rest of my life if necessary. Temptation has been there but I have not given in and I have not cheated. I still have 60 pounds to go to reach my goal. I WILL make it because I WANT to make it and I am WILLING to put in the work and sacrifice needed to get it done.
THIS HAS BEEN HARD! But it has been worth it. If you are considering WLS because you think it will be the easy option, please reconsider. The surgery did make it possible for me to make it half way to my goal. I could not have done it without VSG.
So, instead of saying onward and upward... I will say onward and downward! I am determined to post more pics on the future. I think the great thing about this forum is if I do screw up and I do cheat, I know I can come here for the swift kick in the ass that I need to get me back on track

I was sleeved on June 15th in Tijuana through BariatricPal using Dr. Jesus Martin Lopez. It was a great experience. As for aftercare, I made arrangements with my PCP before I even went. She removed my stitches and will start blood panels at 2 months post-op.
