AussieSam got a reaction from MrsSugarbabe in Is it CHEATING or is it a CHOICE?
The best way to success with your weight loss is not to deprive yourself. When you stop eating everything you love then you run the risk of failure as a person can only hold their breath under Water for so long.

AussieSam got a reaction from ProudGrammy in lets post our favorite food
I still like all the food I had before surgery but in much smaller portions. That way I don't feel like I'm on a diet.

Hey all just curious where you all get your motivation from. For me it's been watching reality shows about obesity as well as this forum of course.

AussieSam got a reaction from Miss Mac in Why do obese men get bariatric surgery far less than women?
I think it's probably because men think they can exercise it off better then women can and probably because men look in the mirror less.

AussieSam got a reaction from Bandista in First day with a personal trainer
Make sure you get a lot of nutritional advise from your trainer, always ask questions. I remember my trainer advising me about my diet saying be on a low carb diet but never be on a no carb diet.

AussieSam got a reaction from wannaBthinsoon in My Delightful first VSG turned Nightmare @ "resleeve" by Almanza
I think if you going in to be re sleeved means you still have not learnt proper eating habits, revising surgeries are not always gonna work if you have not fixed up what's in your mind.

AussieSam got a reaction from MountianGirl in What is in YOUR "SnackBag"?
I personally don't think snack bags are good as they might lead you to eat more what I will do instead is boil some eggs and have one when I feel like snacking it's amazing how one egg fills you up.

AussieSam got a reaction from B-52 in Getting back on Track
It looks like you just need to get back in the zone. Exercise as much as you can and your heart rate will increase and your body will start using the fat stores. Thus you will see the weight drop off again. Good luck
