  1. I know you have mentioned vitamins, but have you tried high dose biotin (5,000-10,000 mcg)?
  2. Not sure if you are able to take pills yet, but Tylenol PM (benadryl) has been helpful.
  3. I wish I would have known that I would truly relearn how to eat again. Yes, the information is right in front of you, but doing it correctly is a different story!
  4. How exciting. I personally know of people that had sedentary jobs and went back to work within a few days. Good luck on your journey!
  5. I had my procedure done in Mexico. No pre-op diet required.
  6. TPN stands for total parenteral nutrition. It is a solution made up of fats/lipids, amino acids, vitamins, and electrolytes that is administered intravenously. It is reserved for severely malnourished patients that have exhausted other options for nutritional support.
  7. Weighed in at 154.3 today!

  11. Excited for tomorrow's weigh in!
  12. Has this been suggested to you?
  13. I agree with the others, you need more time. Please don't worry!
  14. @@Profkf I wanted to commend you on such a thoughtful and insightful post. food has been my best friend for so long, and getting sleeved has been such an eye-opening experience. Good job so far!
  15. I remember having this for the first week or so...you should be okay!
  16. Yes. I know it's hard, but try to stay positive! You should notice a difference in the next two days or so.
  17. I told my significant other and that's it. My friends and family think the near 40lb weight loss is due to a strict diet and exercise....which is technically the truth
  18. I'm a fellow PCOS sister. Despite the amount of weight you have to lose, it's going to be even harder due to our condition alone. I suggest you speak to a bariatric surgeon, but having the gastric sleeve was one of the best things I've ever done. Emotionally speaking, it helped me gain control of my body again. Your story weighs in heavily on my heart. I was 29 at the time of my surgery...we have much more living to do!
  19. No one is 100% perfect. Personally, I've been doing my VSG journey my own way and don't plan on looking back!
  20. No, you need to have a passport at the border. I had my procedure done in Juarez, and they DO check.
  21. If you haven't already, I suggest consulting your physician. Sending positive thoughts your way...
  22. Sleeved on 4/30/15. Didn't feel back to normal for at least 4-6 weeks.
