  1. It could be the spacing of your meds. I felt nauseous when I took my psych meds in the morning so I switched to night. Have you been giving zofran or anything to help with nausea?
  2. My leg does this too. It has gotten better - I pinched a nerve when I was sleeping!
  3. Besides new clothes and a healthier lifestyle, what have you given yourself as a reward?
  4. If you need a coach let me know! I have used it a few times and I love it.
  5. I'm doing well! Walking and such. Getting bored being at home though lol. Not too much pain, just a little soreness.
  6. I know everyone heals differently, but how long did yours take?
  7. I felt like crap. I was exhausted and uncomfortable (pain meds helped) and didn't get much sleep! I felt so much better when I got home.
  8. I stayed 2 days and was so glad to get home!
  9. It took me about 5 months total.
  10. Had mine done with Dr. Kroh at the Cleveland Clinic!
  11. @chani_coady will follow you!
  12. I would literally dry heave every time I had to drink a shake - you're not the only one that found it hard. I just kept reminding myself about the end goal and that's what got me through!
  13. I was definitely swollen! I was so pumped full of fluids and gas that I looked a bit like a balloon! I walked the gas out (helped with the discomfort too) and avoided the scale until my post op appointment where I was down 14 lbs. I'm 25 days post op and my belly is still a bit swollen although much better than it was. Good luck!
  14. I have Medical Mutual of Ohio. I started out at 381 with no comorbidities. I had 3 months of nutrition and psych visits. I was approved the first time, no questions asked.
  15. I used to be a huge sweets person. I'm 2 weeks post op and haven't had a craving for anything but protein. I think the pre op diet really helped!
  16. Walk as much as you can even though it hurts!!
  17. One to two weeks liquids, one to two weeks puréed foods, one to two weeks soft foods and then regular foods after that.
  18. I know. I'm on it for a week to two weeks. Just curious to see what others' time frames were like!
  19. How long were you on the puréed stage?
