  1. I do this all the time. My girls will hand me a shirt of theirs to wear and I'll be like "No way is that my size.!" And every single time I put my jeans on I think there is no possible way I'm that size.
  2. I'm in. I've got to be better about getting exercise in. I'm going to shoot for three hours a week. CW 173 final gw 155 lose one lb a week.
  3. I drink coffee but usually only one cup a day. Try getting all your protein and water in this week and see if the scale changes. Fifty pounds in six months is awesome!
  4. I understand being upset with the nutritionist but you need to let your surgeon's office know about this. If this is someone on their team they want to know you aren't happy. And your surgeon's visits are an important part of your recovery and staying on track.
  5. If you have a World Market near you they carry a ton of the sugar free flavored syrups. Big bottles around $7-8.
  6. I always order the grande SF cinnamon dolce with 2%, added protein powder, and I do get the whip on top. It's worth the calories to me for a treat. Added protein powder and the 2% make it 18g? Of protein. Totally worth it to me.
  7. 70 lbs since surgery, 75 from top weight. Surgery date August 20th. I've got 7 lbs to my next goal and another 18 from there to my final goal.
  8. 90g? I eat around 30g or 35g a day only I do take multivitamin everyday~ You really need a minimum of 60 g of protein a day unless you want long term health issues. Your body needs the protein. If you don't give it enough then it starts to take it from your organs and muscles.
  9. Ulta had the Nioxin set on sale this past week, don't know if it still is or not.
  10. Are you getting your protein and water in first? Are you tracking every bite? Where is your carb intake at? Exercise?
  11. Sleeved on the 20th and I'm down 60 lbs. I still have another 40ish to go but I'm over half way there. I'm wearing a size large down from a 22/24. Best thing of the whole experience? My BP is under control for the first time in ten years -without meds!
  12. August sleevers - How are you doing? It's been insane how the weight has come off and how my health is recovering. I'm down just over 60 lbs. I just bought a size large dress today and a pair of size 10 Levis today. It's really fun shopping but a bit overwhelming at times since there are so many choices.
  13. First off, take the word "only" out of your vocabulary. When was the last time you lost 25 lbs in four weeks? That's more than five pounds a week! That is awesome. Track every gram of protein, every bite. And hydrate. I have had two major stalls since my surgery in August. Both times, for whatever weird reason, they lasted for 9 days each. Then I lost like two or three pounds overnight. Don't be discouraged. As long as you are following plan it will come off.
  14. How do you log your starting weight in baritastic? I can't seem to find that.
  15. OH Heck no. Nope. No way, no how would my husband treat me like that. I would have taken myself on to another restaurant and left him there with no car. And I'd be having a serious conversation about their relationship. I'm sorry.
  16. My MIL gave me a massage for my birthday. I'm so freaking excited. I have a short ton of stuff to get thru this week and next then I can schedule it. I've never had one but I have a feeling it won't be my last.
  17. The only thing I had happen was every shift change the nurse would be going over my chart with the next one and invariably the new one would say "Wait! She's a bariatric patient?" And I had three out of five tell me they had never had a bariatric patient my size. I was like seriously? I was at the 100 lb overweight mark. I'm with the others - complain. That isn't ok.
  18. August 20th and I'm down 45 lbs from the beginning. I feel great and my blood pressure has been awesome.
  19. NSV for the fall happened Friday - I bought a pair of boots I have wanted for years and they are regular width! Not the extended calf! The sales lady brought me the extended calf first and I was wearing them and wondering why they felt so sloppy when she said "Oh those are extended calf! Let me get you the regular ones."
  20. That is freaking hilarious!
  21. I'm sorry. The good news is my surgery and all the paperwork trained them for the next one. Because immediately after I had all my things straight they ended up walking another patient thru it too.
  22. I'm with you, honey. One of the top three reasons I did gastric surgery was to lose some of my chest. When I'm finally at goal, if they aren't smaller in a big way, I will be having a reduction. Right now I can see some size going down but not in a huge way yet. I'm three weeks out from GS.
  23. I'm struggling with my liquid intake for sure. And getting all my protein in...
  24. My pain is better every day. To the point that it doesn't bother me unless I turn too fast etc. I keep reminding myself it will be better tomorrow and it is.
