Had my 6-month follow-up appointment this morning. My labs all came back normal, no deficiencies. My A1C level is down to 5.5, within the normal range. My HDL is up to 62, which the PA said is exceptional. And I'm within the healthy weight range for my height. My surgeon said that I may continue to lose some more, albeit slowly, and to ignore anyone who says I've lost too much, since there is a typical regain of 10-15 pounds down the line.
