Seven months I was still eating about 2/3 of a cup of food every 6 hours. Now im up to about a cup, cup and a half at 2.5 years out.

I got an IUD and I'm very happy.

When I got a DS I was almost 300lbs - and that was considered to be on the lighter side to get something so hard core. I don't think you should do this. I think if you just do a "reset" (talk to a Bariatric nutritionist about this) you will be fine.

One week out from DS Surgery and I can't stop crying

I actually saw a therapist during my "transition" time. Your body is going through a major change. Don't be afraid to reach out for help. Good luck to you. -
Yes, be confident. You will be just fine. I've reached my goal weight recently, and let me tell you... you won't give a damn about the gas because being healthy is much better than bad gas. Just stay on plan - AND EXERCISE.

Honestly it isn't bad unless you eat something that you aren't supposed to. So any carbs = stinky poo. I take Devrom and use poo pouri and it's not so bad.
-
I also heard that might happen. So I started taking Hair Anew vitamins (Biotin) right after surgery.

I can relate so well to this. I too had a "final straw" moment. And I too was well prepped before surgery. I talked to a large team of people and went to a lot of support groups to make sure I knew what was getting into. Success with weight loss surgery is what you make of it. I decided I was going to be successful. So I have been. End of story. So again, for anyone who tells you that you can't do something or tries to down talk you for having the surgery, sounds like they have their own issues to work out.

Well, at the end of the day all I can say is it's my body and I can do what I want. I chose to be healthy. No one else is paying my bills but me. And these would be the very same people chastising you if you had a health crisis because of your weight. I think a lot of it comes down to jealousy as well. My sister once said "Losing weight is like winning the lottery. No one knows how to handle you after the fact." And she is right. So basically screw all of them. Your happiness makes them uncomfortable. And that's not your fault.

I've noticed it usually comes from people who have never had a weight problem. I always tell people it's a tool and not a fix.

Psych evaluation required?! Why?

Exercise and ravenous hunger.

See I'm a DS patient, so the fat thing doesn't scare me at all. But yes, thank you kindly for the advice. I shall follow it immediately. I know I'm supposed to do small meals but damn... The hunger has been craaaaaazy. And thanks! It's been hard because my body fat is down quite a bit but the pounds have remained the same. I know this is due to muscle build... But it's still frustrating. On the upside, I can run for an extended period of time and that is new for me. -
So I do a hard core workout 3 times a week. Of course now I am super super hungry after. I've been told this is normal of course, but how do you handle it when your belly can only tolerate so much?
