  1. @ - I kinds hit one monthly. I am 52 and entering the big "M" and have started skipping but I still have symptoms and some mild weight gain every month - to me as a long time dieter - it is the norm:)
  2. @@sonnysun - I am thinking TOM, not enough protein and the "stall" are all playing a factor. I have just passed a month were I lost 2lbs the scale seemed to just be stuck - then it moved me into Onederland! Hang in there and ask NUT/Dr about maybe a dose of miralax.
  3. @@kranky813 - me too! It found me yesterday morning so I could send it off to the Halloween challenge. I actually skipped 199!!! Electronic scale had me at 197.5...I weigh - walk around, come back and weigh again...still 197.5. Which is 198 in my books! I haven't weighed below the 200's since about 2004?
  4. @@dalaneys_mommy and @@pimmar - welcome to the family and all I can suggest is follow your doctors orders and walk, walk, walk and later sip, sip, sip.

  7. @@OKCPirate why the <delete> for education high school? Did I take that the wrong way? High school graduate myself and I will admit I am curious as to why that's a deal breaker. I am happily married and have worked since I graduated from high school.

  15. Miralax - half a dose everyday or every other day and no extra iron supplements. the supplement caused a lot of "grief" for me.
  16. @@stephh can you change my goal to 189? I would like to maybe make this in five weeks.
  17. @@amalie1684 - great! get ready it will be here before you know it!
  18. congrats on your date!
  19. I had the buyers remorse when I was home first day and realized that there was no going back. my stomach was in a biohazard container somewhere and therefore gone. then I remembered why I chose the sleeve. a lifelong tool to help me get to a normal weight and hopefully never yo-yo diet again. I never looked back. it's been almost 5 months and I am rarely hungry and my weight is going in the right direction and I feel normal. I am still obese by my BMI but I feel pretty good. I am looking forward to the rest of my life as a normal weight person. no regrets!
  20. cool. are you ready to do it?
  21. I didn't gain post, just stayed the same for a day or two and then dropped a few pounds. everyone is different.
  22. @@kranky813 - green eyed monster...IMHO. she will either grow up or still be snarky and jealous of the attention you are getting.
