Night sweats?
@@Shainadelphia - yes it could be the hormones getting stabilized. How old are you? I had my first "night sweat" about 6 years ago at 46...gross. Could it be menopause?

Losing Weight In Chunks
I agree I notice that I seem to "stall" when I would have normally had a TOM, which I haven't had frequently since I am now menopausal. I just don't freak out too much unless I start gaining. Then I just keep an eye on it to make sure I don't get past 5 or so and generally I drop that amount, plus some, in a day or so.

6 months post and starting to get nauseous of the mornings.
@@heav85 I was thinking the same this as the OP...get an OTC and eat something small before you take your other meds. You may want to move your BC to a time of the day, when you are not sick (in the am), maybe later....?

13 days in and not loosing
@@australian marie - NO. It is probably a combination of a couple of things - fluids your body is still holding onto post- surgery and your body adjusting to its new "normal". Stay the course and OFF the scale. You are probably also headed towards the dreaded 3 week stall (they happen), so again...stay the course and OFF the scale

My love for Starbucks!
I tried to go caffeine free post and gave that up. I drink 2 cups, black, everyday. I occasionally add a flavored SF creamer. I get a cappuccino once in a while, its moderation for me.

Time off work? One week? More?
@@itstimealready - I had the sleeve and have a "desk job" too. I am required to lift 40# so I had to be careful and NOT lift anything over 10# until I was cleared with doctor. I had surgery on Wednesday and went back to work not that Monday, but the week following....went nuts at the house. I should've gone back that first Monday. I had no gas pains, vomiting, etc. I am very blessed with my WLS and recovery..... No Regrets!

Water Retention
@ - are you doing the Halloween challenge? I love it because it challenges me.

Water Retention
@ good morning! I deal with the same thing around that TOM even though I am menopausal and haven't had one in about 4 months. I don't know if doctors give RXs for Water retention post surgery because we already are kind of high risk for dehydration usually if you are retaining it means one of two things. too much salt or you are not drinking enough fluids and your body is saving (retaining) every last ounce because it's doing what it thinks is right. IMO...check salt contents in food, make sure you are drinking Fluid that are also low in caffeine and stay off the scale. good luck and I am dealing will the same issue. Scale will move....just have to stay the course and off the scale!
