  2. damn! this was getting good..pissy woman who is married ( to her cousin and probably getting a divorce) starts whining, about her forging her tits, to movie POPCORN and now S&M...
  3. @@kimmyco I have a question....which surgery?
  4. @@drumking88 - welcome to the family. DrumKing? I have to ask....Percussionist?
  5. @@justintime - I started my journey with very stats (height & BMI) today I am just "overweight" and I am loving my sleeve - YOU got this!
  6. no - I have BCBS fed and I don't know about if the hospital I had my surgery at was a "center of excellence". as far as I am concerned they were AWESOME!!!!
  7. @@htowngentleman - welcome to the family! We are a nutty, loving, and at times an argumentative bunch, but someone is usually "home" if you need to chat
  8. @@stephh - Thanks again! I didn't make it to goal this time either, but I know why. I just need to not let the emotional eating take over. CW 193
  9. my "muffin top". I seem to have lost the most there so far. I am happy about that but wished I didn't have the excess skin
  10. @@BLERDgirl - great responses!
  11. Hopefully everything will come back okay. do you have a surgery date?
  12. I agree. just a shame it had to go to get me here......
  13. @@megieg - Happy Re-Birthday!!!!
  14. you look great! Is your energy level up? I was sleeved on 5/6/15 and I am losing about the same amount a month. Not as fast as others but I will take it! I am hoping the hairloss will slow down - mine started about 2 months ago and I don't want to have to start wearing a bandana! love my sleeve!
  15. I did okay yesterday UNTIL I got home and hubby cooked BACON on the grill!!! I had two pieces with my smoothie and a couple of spoons of hummus as a "dip". I stopped my BP meds a couple of days ago and I am eating a Protein bar in the morning (4-5am) today to get the extra energy to make it through - I am on going all liquid now. Water isn't the problem for me...its getting to the bathroom and not "puddling" on the way if someone stops me!!!!! @@Elode thanks I needed this extra challenge and reminder about the "junk" and necessity of water!!!
  16. I used to actually step-on the scale backwards. I am actually a scale junkie and I knew what I weighed that morning. I didn't need the extra 2-3 lbs
  17. @@DaisyAmy - I didn't tell EVERYONE. I am approaching 6 months post and down 88lbs from HW and people started wondering if I was ill. I work in a predominately male environment and when guys start asking "are you ok?", you realize they have noticed something is going on. Around 2 months post I was getting stopped and I was just politely responding "yes" if they asked if I was okay. Then the questions got to "are you losing weight?" by month 3 and I made the decision to share. I have only gotten support so I am very blessed.
  18. @@alejcerra - Love yourself! @@LipstickLady said was a great "one liner". Be thankful you were able to have the surgery and avert liver failure and watch your children grow-up and age with your supportive husband I have been fighting my weight most of my life. I was never skinny once puberty kicked in at 12. I was in the higher end of a normal weight range thru school and even after having my kids at 22 & 28 my weight recovered. Then the 40s came, and at 51, I hit my HW. I had surgery two months past my 52dn birthday and I am hoping to be closer to my goal by 53rd birthday. Point is, I had 15 years of excess weight that I could've enjoyed activities with my kids and hubby. Now I am looking forward to enjoying my adult kids, grandbabies & hubby and being active with them FOREVER!
  19. @@Sexy Granny - Happy Birthday!
  20. @@Elode - I am in!!!! I just got to work so I will start today as well...maybe I can get closer to that Halloween goal on Monday (5lbs)
  21. @@bellabloom - wishing you the best of luck Keep us posted, if you can, and get back online when you are released. Eating disorders are real. jane
