  1. @@HappyNean32 - hydrate as long as possible.
  2. @@LosingSomeLisa forgot to add I am almost 53....
  3. it's on the sleeve discussion board. @@stephh has very kindly set it up for us. unfortunately I am not quite as tall apparently I am just under 5'8" now. I am in some 12s, mostly 13s
  4. @@Ilovecats1985 - eat a light meal, when u are hungry. do you know why you got sick?
  5. @@LosingSomeLisa you are doing awesome as well. I am losing now around 6-7 pounds a month. I have a personal goal of -100 by new years. I am doing the holiday challenge. I haven't made the goal I set for the last two challenges. I am hoping third time is the charm. I am due to see doctor in January and would love to be in the 170s.
  6. @@Lura Dean -Merry Christmas!
  7. @@Chelle Bean - I would go to the doctors office.
  8. @@Rdsegobia my surgery date was May 6th so i am now post honeymoon and now weight loss is slower.
  9. @@Dr-Patient - can you share a picture pre & post for us newbies????
  10. @@♥dreamable - you look great! I can see a difference in your face especially - stay on course, enjoy the honeymoon phase and embrace the stalls!!!!
  11. @@talking mountain - this is a subject that a professional (doctor) needs to answer from what I read here :/ Don't wait until the 17th of December - call now! Contact the pharmacist too, they may be able to help as well.
  12. @@Rdsegobia - you have a great attitude and I share your thoughts about this being seeing food as "fuel" only.
  13. @@Angry Banana - love your post!!! are you related to @@Dub ???? I love his too. Its great to get a guys perspective. I love the EAS protein drinks too and I hated straining the goodies out of the soup but I hated the "clear" broth more };/
  14. I did the decaf for about a month and then went back to the regular blend. I haven't had any issues - I am drinking some now - black. I can drink mine with or without sugar/cream. Just has to be GOOD coffee and preferably NOT decaf.
  15. that is a definite multiple NSV weekend/Holiday !
  16. @@sparkles1971 - I don't know about Metamucil stretching the pouch but I was given the option of my new BFF - Miralax. I can mix it with anything and the bathroom trip is move often and comfortable. I am post-op from May2015 too. Have you had BW done? I ask because I was told I could stop taking the extra Iron (causing more BM issues) because my BW was fine and I get iron in my Multivitamin. Contact you doctor and see if the Metamucil is ok, and maybe my BFF ;D
  17. @@Dossage1975 - when was your surgery? How much protein are you getting in your day?
  18. @@Munecagirl85 - stalls. Get used to them, stalls, they happen:/ There is no set time-line, number of pounds lost, etc for when a stall occurs. Measure yourself, try on clothing that was snug - those are both NSVs (non scale victories). Stay the course! Get rid of your scale for now. weigh once a month or every week.
  19. @@lizziebeth72 - good idea. They may have you come in and check you out. Have you pre-admitted to hospital? My doctor had me pre-admit and I was given a number to call for things like this - good luck. Keep us posted
  20. moderation. not depriving myself from even a small amount like @@Inner Surfer Girl, enjoying the company not focusing on food.
  21. it has also been described <here> as passing a pineapple! been there. done that...not pretty
  22. I ask for a box as soon as I put my part I plan to eat on a plate. hubby shares his plate and I order a la carte.
  23. @@JupiterinVirgo - suppository? Miralax is what I use. Can I ask why you haven't contacted your doctor before now? I was told to not wait more than about five to seven days of I hadn't had a BM.
  24. @@Amanda Elder welcome little sister to the BP family.
  25. @@stephh 189 today. thanks again
