Throwing up

I am 6 weeks post op. I threw up for the first time today. My lunch didn't agree with me. This is probably a dumb question but how soon after throwing up should I try to eat again? Or should I wait until the next meal time?

I don't see any reason to wait any longer than to the next meal. I'd keep it a light meal though.

@@Ilovecats1985 - eat a light meal, when u are hungry. do you know why you got sick?

I think the food was way to spicy. I've even tons of chicken and pinto beans with no problem but this bowl was really spicy. My other thought was I might be coming down with the stomach bug my family was passing around. However I don't feel sick.

I definitely planned on keeping it light.
