  4. I was sleeved 12/16 and am down 41 lbs and 3 pant sizes!!!
  5. Post op I was told I could take pills that were no bigger than an M&M...that being said, I was told I have H.Pylori and would need to take a round of antibiotics. I was told they can be hard on the stomach, so they suggested I wait until I'm at least 4 months post op before taking them, but I could go ahead and take them now if I wanted.
  6. I pretty much used all my paid time off for pre-op appointments/procedures, and I didn't really want to lose any pay. I had my surgery on a Tuesday and went back to work half a day that Friday (desk job) then Full time the following week. I was one of the fortunate ones that had no pain though. Best of luck!!!
  7. Thanks so much for all of the suggestions!

  11. I had seen before several people who ate it to get some extra Protein in. I bought some and do not really care for the taste. For those of y'all who eat it, what do y'all add to it if anything to make it taste a little better?
  12. Congrats!! I'm looking forward to the day when I hit that milestone as well!
  13. Sleeved 12/16. Seems like several of us went through a long stall! Mine lasted a little over 3 weeks. Thankfully I'm back to losing again, because I was starting to get discouraged. Dropped 3 lbs in 2 days Had an appointment on Friday and they said they expect me to lose at least 15 lbs if not more by May. Really hoping I don't have another 3 week stall between then!!

  16. I was told at my first post op visit that I have it as well. I don't start my medications for 3 more weeks though. They said the meds can be hard on the tummy so they wanted to make sure I'm eating well before starting them.
  17. Not sure if it's normal, but my first period after being sleeved was horrible! I don't think I've ever passed so many clots and lost so much blood! Hoping my next one is better!!!!
  18. Benji I do get it, but only if I forget to take my pepcid. I had it before surgery so it's nothing new here.
  19. I too pretty much spent the rest of the day sleeping after mine. My throat was also really sore for a day or two.
  20. Glad to hear this is common! I was sleeved Dec. 16th and I too have been at a stall and was wondering what I was doing wrong!
  21. Mine was outpatient as well. I think my surgery was around 9:30-10am and I was home by 8pm (I live a little over an hr away from the hospital) I was very fortunate though and had no pain of any kind. I went in knowing I was going to have outpatient surgery, but they told us ahead of time it's possible we might have to stay depending on how we're doing afterwards. Best of luck!!!
  22. I was sleeved on the same date and down 30 as well I have 3 more days on the liquid diet, then I get to start blenderized...definitely looking forward to it
  23. Yep, My surgeon told me not to be alarmed if it did come early. I'm 17 days post op and have been expecting mine, but hasn't come yet. Like you, I'm like clockwork, so it's frustrating not knowing when it's gonna come!!
