antibiotics?

Im 6 days post op. Can you take antibiotics? Im sure I will have to break them in half or crush them but just wondering. :)

My surgeons were recently asked that question. they said if it was a small pill or capsule it should go down ok, and to call if you are not sure.

Post op I was told I could take pills that were no bigger than an M&M...that being said, I was told I have H.Pylori and would need to take a round of antibiotics. I was told they can be hard on the stomach, so they suggested I wait until I'm at least 4 months post op before taking them, but I could go ahead and take them now if I wanted.
