  1. I try to do something every day,but it needs to be something like walking . I need to have a destination. Just exersizing to exercise doesn't do it for me.
  2. First, I empathize with you and am struggling with some of the same issues. I am 95 pounds down and have twenty to go to my goal and am stuck. Sounds like you know what to do, but just need to convince yourself to do it. Fighting yourself is a harder battle than cutting calories or carbs. I know. Good luck, you can do it.
  3. Congratulations. Ninety pounds is a Huge accomplishment!
  4. Just curious, what is a SIPS
  5. I'm a para-educator in a public school. I had surgery last July and had the summer off. Truthfully, I needed it, to get used to the eating. Physically I could have gone back after three weeks. I had a lot of fatigue early on.
  6. I went from a 46/48 DD to a 40/42D- depends on bra style as to whether I'm a forty or forty two, I have twenty pounds to go so will probably be a 38 D when 8'm done.
  7. I also went to DHMC. I had doctor Laycock, who I would recommend and I have had good follow up care. Oh, and I live in Bradford, vt.
  8. I also had a sleeve and heartily recommend it. I feel good, no major dumping. I have had three bouts of vomiting because I ate a dense protein and didn't wait long enough afterward to drink and too much chocolate gives me a stomach ache, so I avoid those two things am and fine., but otherwise easy to live with and I think less complicated then the bypass.
  9. I was allowed food on pre-op diet, just couldn't go over 1,000 calories or 100 grams of carbs. I found that difficult enough.
  10. 178 gained two! Water weight. By next week he to be down one.
  11. I'm almost a year out and have been eating on the average of 1,000 to 1,200 calories for about six to eight months out. If I go too low I don't lose. I do have to be careful with carbs, over 120 carbs I also stop losing. So I try to eat around 80 to 100 grams of carbs. For a while I was just losing 3 pounds a month, but I got back on track and lost 5 last month.
  12. Good, you might want to try prunes later on. I eat a couple of prunes every morning and it keeps me going.
  13. Well I was hoping it was a kitty, not a Kitty.
  14. I also cut my hair when I noticed it thinning. I've had a pixie cut now since December
  15. Mine is just my name
  16. Congratulations
  17. I'm five two and have lost ninety six pounds since March 2014', sixty two of that since my surgery last July.
  18. I just wore a bathing suit today for the first time In twenty years. It was a tankini. I looked cute I think, even if it's middle aged lady cute.
  19. At the last class before surgery I had a fellow patient to be ask me if I had already had surgery. To be fair I was the smallest person there, my BMI at that point was still well over forty, so I was by no means skinny.
  20. Eleven months out and yes I get hungry, but it is around meal time when I do and I can only eat a cup of food at a time. So usually no problem. I still have some head hunger, but look for low calorie snacks to take care of that. 5 calorie jello usually fills me up.
  21. I'm allowed up to 140 grams of carbs a day y and no less than 50. I find that I lose best if I eat no more than 100 grams.
