  1. I couldn't tolerate retried beans when I was on purees. Now I tolerate them fine.
  2. This really is a great feeling! Congrats! I don't know why but crossing my legs makes me feel more sexy!
  3. Congrats! I can't wait to get to 199. I'm getting close!
  4. I think that's pretty normal. I get around that too and am just over 3 months out. The only carbs I get are from protein shakes or veggies.
  5. How do I sync my fit bit with MFP? Can't figure it out!
  6. Lol. I understand! Watching them eat Ghiardelli was hard but I made it.
  7. I survived my first vacation after being sleeved. Went to Disney with the fam. Was in a stall at 3 months before we left. I did great. I either split something with my oldest daughter or got something small. Hubby was awesome and made sure I had snacks and protein shakes throughout the day. We walked about 30 miles over the 5 days we were there. I tracked on my fit bit! AND I did not eat anything I wasn't supposed to. Not even a bite! Very proud of myself. I felt great walking around 60 lbs lighter than our last visit. Got home and weighed this morning and I lost 5 lbs!!! I'm so happy right now. And another thing.....hubby can't keep his hands off me
  8. I've had a stall at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, and now again at 3 months. Sucks!
  9. I'm just over 3 months and just tried salad. I would wait.
  10. You know, I've been having issues with my hips (mainly the right) as well. I'm 3 months out. It came out of nowhere. Never had an issue with them before hand. I forgot to ask my doctor at the last check up but all my blood work was great.
  11. It's really frustrating. I'm on vacation right now so I'm hoping this breaks it!
  12. I posted the same topic yesterday.
  13. I'm in! CW- 227 Goal- 215
  14. Thanks all. Yeah it's low and I'm trying to increase it but it's hard! And yes it's shocking to hear to eat more! Lol
  15. Did anyone else stall at 3 months? I've been stuck for 2 weeks. Think I need to increase my calories. I only get around 700 per day.
  16. I can tell you this....my surgeon expects 30% of excess weight by 3 months so you're ahead of the game!
  17. I'm 3 months out and I still get nauseated after the Celebrate multi vitamins. After I'm finished this bottle, I'm going to Flinstones Complete. I can't stand the nausea.
  18. Lol. That's awesome! I do miss a good donut!
  19. Thanks all. I've worked hard and am very motivated!
  20. My NUT says not to worry about counting carbs. She said as long as I'm eating according to plan and getting my protein in that's all that matters. The only carbs I get are from beans, small amount of veggies, or the occasional serving of fruit. My average is 30-40 per day but I don't really pay much attention to it.
  21. So one of my good friends came over today. I haven't seen her in about 5 or 6 weeks because we have both been busy. Well, when I opened the door she was shocked!!!!! She started crying. I'm 12 weeks out and have lost 60 lbs. She said she was so happy for me and proud of me. She just could not get over the difference. This has finally made me see just what a change this is. I could see the scale and the clothes size moving down but the reaction from other people really makes it more real to me. Just wanted to share. I look forward to continuing to trend downwards but I'm feeling pretty good right now!
  22. Well, I was sleeved September 2014 and I've already had 2 bouts of sickness. I had the flu during Thanksgiving and a stomach virus last week. Both liked to kill me. I've always been a person who hardly ever gets sick. I don't know what's going on but I'm ready for the sickness to be over!
  23. I'm 12 weeks post op and just tried some lettuce last night. I had no issues with it. I didn't eat much though.
  24. I started walking around the block a few days after surgery. At first, I could barely make it around but I did it every day and increased the times around. I drug myself to the car about 5 days post op because I had to get my kids something to eat and my husband was at work. I didn't start working out per Se until 6 weeks but I walked daily before that.
