  1. I was wondering if anyone has taken a muscle relaxer medication after surgery. Any problems with that? I had them from before surgery so I haven't asked my surgeon yet. I'm having horrible back pain lately. Probably from being on my feet for 12 hours at work. There is no ibuprofen in them but I'm still worried. Any insight?
  2. Thanks for all the comments. My personal trainer thinks it's muscle gain. I'm not so sure. I'm going to wait a few days then weigh myself again. I definitely have not gotten my water in the past 3 days. Maybe that's it?
  3. I don't drink anything carbonated and do not plan to.
  4. I'm a little over 5 months post op and this week I gained 2 lbs. I've never gained. I've stalled but never gained. I'm really worried. I haven't done anything differently. I watch what I eat and am very strict. I've never cheated and don't eat anything I'm not supposed to. I'm working out about 4 days a week. What gives???
  5. I'm 206 today. Not sure how I gained 2 lbs from last week. I've never gained. I do not eat anything I'm not supposed to and follow my plan exactly. I'm so upset!
  6. I get about 900 calories and 100 grams of protein a day. I'm very active also and am thinking I'm not eating enough calories. I'm over 5 months out. My dr says between 1000-1200 a day.
  7. I'm very strict and follow my plan exactly. I track everything I eat. I avoid carbs, sugar, caffeine. I weigh my food. I'm 5 months out and down 82 lbs!
  8. I'm experiencing episodes of dizziness as well. I'm 5 months out.
  9. CW- 204 Goal- 195 Lost 4 lbs this week. Yay!
  10. I was able to start protein bars at 3 months post op.
  11. CW- 208 Goal- 195 Susan, stay safe!
  12. I was like that too between months 3-4. Then it picked right back up. It was so frustrating. Only difference with me is that my diet was and still is perfect. I've never eaten anything I'm not supposed to. Not really sure why this happens. I'm almost 5 months out and I find some weeks take the whole week to lose a lb and then the next week I'll drop 5 lbs quickly. Makes no sense to me!
  13. I've had a few stalls. The worst one was around 3 months. I stalled for about 3 weeks. I just kept doing what I was supposed to and it eventually broke. It's so frustrating. Hang in there.
  14. I had reflux and a hernia. Took omeprazole for 3 months. I'm off of it now and never have any problems.
  15. Measure everything you eat!!! Almost 5 months out and still do this!!!! I never over eat. I've never gotten sick or had problems with anything. Try it.
  16. I'm in. Goal is 195.
  17. 209 today. 1 lb BELOW my 2nd goal of 210 since I hit my original goal of 215 previously. Yay! Thanks so much Susan!
  18. I've had 3 c sections and they were easy compared to the sleeve! I was in a ton of pain after the sleeve! I have a high pain tolerance but the sleeve put me on my a$& for 2 weeks! I had a hernia repair at same time so I always wondered if that was it.
  19. My dad was against it as well. I'm 34 and married mother of 3 so I was doing it regardless. My dad was against due to stuff he heard in the past about the bypass. He knew nothing about the sleeve. He was a nervous wreck for the surgery. However, he has never said another word since. He sees how well I am doing and is happy for me.
  20. 214. Only lost 1 lb this week. Aggravated! I changed my goal to 210 last week after meeting my original of 215.
