Quest bars!

Just found these delicious gems! They have a lot of Protein and not a lot of sugar!

On another side note: being 5 weeks out I've stopped checking the scale daily! I've stalled and checking everyday was getting frustrating and depressing.

I'm focusing on protein and fluids!

Anybody have some favorite Quest bar favorites? I'm interested in trying more varieties.

  • I probably shouldn't, but I use these as my "sweet". I'm stuck on the double chocolate chunk right now. They take care of me for wanting something yummy/sweet, and help a lot with making my Protein

  • They are actually quite low in carbs... 15 of the 21g carbs listed on the label is fiber, which is awesome for those of us with constipation and one of the big reasons I finally broke down and started

My favorite flavors are strawberry cheesecake and double chocolate chunk. I also like their protein chips in the cheddar and sour cream and onion flavors.

I like them all but I think my favorites would be Lemon and the Peanut butter - jelly.

PBJ, Lemon, vanilla almond, banana nut

ETA oh and the apple pie, mmmm

I've only had the chocolate peanut Butter. Wicked good

I'll stick to my protein drink. To me the cost isn't worth it.

I like the cookies and cream ones and the cookie dough ones! But I can't eat them yet...one more week of full liquids then purees....

I was excited about the fiber amount in them! And they are yummy! Love the cookie dough one.

I was "anti Quest bars" for a long time because of the texture. But in the end the protein/fiber content was just too good to pass up. Once I got over the chewy part I love them, banana nut, mixed berry, double chocolate chunk, vanilla almond, cinnamon bun and Apple pie are my favs.

im going to try the strawberry cheesecake one and make the cake with it.theres a great recipe on quest website for cakes made from the bars.it will be my birthday cake!!!

They take care of me for wanting something yummy/sweet, and help a lot with making my Protein goal.

Where do you get these? I am intrigued!

I tried a couple and didn't like them at all.. I now make my own Protein bars.. I think they average out to be less than 50 cents a bar and have 18 grams of protein in them...

They're very high in carbs. I'm making a low carb version of them I found on Pinterest.

They are actually quite low in carbs... 15 of the 21g carbs listed on the label is fiber, which is awesome for those of us with constipation and one of the big reasons I finally broke down and started eating them. They only have 1g of sugar.
