  1. I'm with you. I'm 6 months out and sabotaging myself with junk food, no water and no exercise. I'm still losing very slowly but I'm sure I would be down a lot more than 52 pounds if I were doing the right things. Pretty much the only liquids I get in are sweet tea and coffee. For a while I had a water accountability buddy and I was getting my 64 in. That really helped. I think I need that again along with a food buddy to help me stay accountable with what I eat. I need to lay off the popcorn, Cheetos, cheese and crackers, chocolate, sandwiches... Oy!!! There's nothing I can't eat.
  2. Omg! I found people from oregon finally. I would love some support I live in salem oregon it would be so great to connect and maybe plan a get together. It would be great to hear from people who r going through a similar process. My friends are great and do their best to support me but no one will get it unless they r going through it. This is my email melinaleon81@hotmail.com I'm in Keizer
  3. Right there with you! 9 weeks here. Grape flavor, ice and a straw get me further than anything but still nowhere close.
  4. i do fine on my protein, still don't get all my liquids in. Exercise... I don't really. Between 4000-5000 steps on an average day. Leave for work at 6am and get home at 6pm, then kids, cooking, blah blah blah, I just crash.
  5. How have I only lost 4.5 pounds in the last month? I'm 9 weeks and 2 days and am 31 pounds down. How can I speed it back up?
  6. I had the worst gerd prior to surgery. I'm talking lava choking me awake at night even on meds. Since surgery zero reflux and zero meds!
  7. Date 2/18/15. Surgery weight 240, current weight 213. Lost 26 pounds so far. Getting about 600 calories on average. Don't get all my liquids in. Not exercising yet since I'm pretty weak. No change in clothing size yet so that's discouraging. If I could just speed my way to through the next 14 pounds so I could see onederland again, that would be a huge motivator!
  8. Ha. Yeah I don't enjoy looking at the figure or body building classes. But I definitely enjoy the bikini shape. That's what I'm going for.
  9. where are you at in your journey? Has your research been fruitful? I can't seem to find any stories about bariatric peeps competing in bikini!
  10. I'm getting ready to start!
  11. Ha! Yeah I went to a show this morning that my friend was competing in and it was so inspiring. I've wanted to do it for a long time. Now I have hope that I'll actually be able to!
  12. I really want to compete but need someone who's done it to give me tips on macros and workouts. And skin. Haha.
  13. Anyone who wants in the Facebook group just send me a private message please
  14. Yes that's on the soft phase. However, be careful because it has to be very very moist or it will get stuck in your throat. I speak from experience.
  15. Hi. I had my surgery on 2/10. Would love to join your Facebook page. Email: sleslie771@ymail.comi couldn't find you with your email. Send me a pm please.
  16. I was sleeved the 18th. Send me a message if you'd like to join our secret Facebook group for february sleevers.
  17. I've had horrendous gerd for about 15 years. Like the kind where I would wake up choking on hot lava even on high does of ppi. My doc was willing to do the sleeve AND I haven't had a lick of reflux since! No meds either!!!
  18. I was just talking to my husband literally 20 minutes ago about how I can't wait to be at goal so I can have some damn popcorn. Not so much?
  19. I just joined a meltdown challenge for the month of March... last time I did this I won $ for losing 3% of my body weight. Duh, we can all totally rock this challenge, yes? Please join me in the challenge and be on my team! http://mdcinvite.co/TheHealthGames1-March-Crystal-16527
  20. I finally ended up puking and felt a ton better. There was SO much that came up I don't understand! I only had half a sugar free fudge pop right before the pain started.
  21. Today was my first day back at work and it went okay except for being extremely exhausted. Now I have the worst stomach ache and the worst chest pain I have felt this entire time, and now I've also developed extremely painful hiccups. Please help me either just get rid of the hiccups or fake figure out what the heck is going on.
  22. Tea tree cream or ointment will keep anything from starting in the folds
