I am a 20 year old college senior 7 months into a weight loss journey(pre-op). I am getting the gastric sleeve surgery in the next month(date TBD) in Troy, MI. I've been overweight/obese my entire life, with little success with other weight loss avenues. Some programs I have tried include weight watchers, medical weight loss, personal nutritionalist, personal trainer, and group training. Bariatric surgery is my last resort, and I've been thinking about it for a while now. I stumbled upon BariatricPal by chance, but it seems like a wonderful supportive community!
