Oh, no... not the dreaded "End of the Road" speech (<-- Lengthy)
i think you need to calm down a bit. My surgeon always tells me she is my doctor for life. I'm sure yours still feels the say way. That said you are close to goal, this is nothing some serious exercising can not do for you. Each person and their stomach is different so even though i have great restriction at 2.5cc, another person may not be feeling anything. Looking at your floro you seem to be having great restriction, and i think you should be glad your surgeon is trying to look out for you (because he cares) and not get to aggressive. I would try pumping up the exercise and see what comes of it.

how much have you paid SINCE banding?
i haven't paid for anything other then $55 to the radiologist who did the fluro. I have a credit on my account with my surgeon because the insurance paid more then they though, so i don't have to pay any copays till i use up my credit.

How long did it take after your first fill before you got restriction
i had one fill (2.5 cc) and have alot of restriction. My doc put alot in because she had a hard time hitting the port even under floro, so instead she but a little in, made me do a barium swallow, but a little more, another shallow until she got the restriction she wanted to see.

Pay for the band! Poll!
I had insurance though i wouldn't say it was next to nothing. I think i paid close to $1000 by time i did my consults, pre-op tests, copay for surgury, co pay to the hospital, etc.

My Port Infections and Erosion Story
my port sight looked like that too at about 3 weeks out, i wouldn't stress, but i'm not an expert. All i can say is my port incision did something similar, it just took a little longer to heal, but was fine. i didn't even have to have antibiotics,

I just wanna cry
oooh pulling out the battery GREAT IDEA. I noticed the same thing with my digital scale, that the numbers tend to stick. I can weigh with clothes and shoes on, strip and go the bathroom, and weigh MORE or the same. I switch it to KG and then back over to lbs, but that didn't work... i'm gonna have to try the battery thing!

Lap Band Poll
I'm not 100% happy, but i'm pretty damn happy (85% maybe). I love my surgeon, i plan on giving her something very nice as a gift once i reach my goal. She is the perfect balance of supportive shoulder to cry on, but firm in her expectations. I wasn't banded in Mexico so i can't answer those.

I just wanna cry
I know, i know. I just don't get how i could gain 6lbs in 30 seconds LOL. Of course i know the reason, i probably was just standing on the scale wierd or something, but that minute of pure joy just to have it ripped out from under me was awful. So now I have moved my camera and its sitting on the counter in the bathroom, so i don't have to move off the scale to take the picture, and the scale can't play its nasty tricks on me anymore!

I just wanna cry

This whole week i've been struggling to loose bouncing between 201-203. I was getting anxious because of my goal to be under 200 by xmas.

So today i weighed my and it said 197.5 I was so happy, i ran to grab my camera (took 30 seconds to get it)...and when i got back on it said 203...WHAT THE HELL. WHY WHY WHY??? Why can't i break that 200 mark. I just wanna cry and eat a freaking chocolate cake, cause obviously i ain't going to make my mini goal.

thanks for letting me vent, I'm ready to throw the scale out the window.

low BMI before surgery - does it correlate with slow weight loss?
For me the first 30lbs came off easy, it seems like as soon as my BMI went under 40, my weight loss has REALLY slowed down and i'm having to work my band harder.
