  1. i wanna learn to bellydance <INPUT onclick="doEmoticon(this.form.body,eList,2);return false;" type=image alt=:belly src="http://www.websmileys.com/sm/party/bellyemoticon.gif">
  2. I started out at a 22, and now wear an 18. It sucks being short sometimes *sigh* I have no idea what my goal size is. anything under a 10 would be dreamy a 4-6 would be like a dream come true. I'll just have to wait and see where my band takes me.
  3. yup,i had this problem and it has almost completely gone since loosing 50lbs
  4. try liquids only for a week, somethis this causes the swelling to go down and the stomach to slip back into place and you wont need surgery, doesn't always work, but sometimes it does.
  5. I would be ok with it, my surgeon hadn't done very many either ( like 30) the good thing is that because this is new they will be extra careful to make sure they are doing it right and there should be a procter there who is watching to make sure things are done right.
  6. thanks for checking in! I'm glad your doing ok. Thanks for all the input, i'm storing that away for when its my turn. Are you glad you did it all at once or do you wish, you would have done them seperate.
  7. oh yeah, i keep looking at my DL like "wow" i dont think i've EVER been so eager to get my DL picture taken :biggrin1:
  8. I was banded in August too and i've lost 50lbs, so really your doing good, it doesn't seem like it but your still in the 1-2lbs a week average. Just be patient, slow and steady wins the race.
  9. I went to the DMV today to take care of some business and showed the teller my DL, she looked at the DL, looked at me, looked back at the DL and said "sweety we need to retake your picture, i barely can tell your the same person!" :clap2: :clap2: So this is just a reminder, keep tabs on your photo ID pictures like passports and DL!
  10. i have found chewing gum really helps with this as well as far as chewing and oral fixation.
  11. my doctor has never told me no sodas, but she has discouraged it saying they have no nutritional value. I drink crystal light, tea, mystic juice, water, smoothies, and yes sometimes i'll have a drink of my DH's soda. I've actually found after being soda free for awhile that they are too sweet.
  12. i have done this before, i dont see it as a bad thing as long as it doesn't become a habit.
  13. 3 days:o :biggrin1:
  14. i would do it again and again. It hasn't been easy, there are days i struggle, days i wonder why i haven't lost more etc. But 50lbs in 7 months...well really i shouldn't complain. THe occasional pb etc while miserable at the moment, really isn't so bad.
  15. i like the sex threads. For me sex has always been good, but after loosing 50lbs its even better! I want to talk about it , toss around some ideas or even some insecurities. OH has a sex forum, we could add one here we can have the lounge and the bedroom lol
  16. EXACTLY. I remember one post while ago someone was going to be having surgery in like 2 weeks and wanted to know what a fill was. :faint: I'm not shocked at the person for asking, I'm shocked/HORRIFIED that their doctor hasn't told them.
  17. thats awesome! I cant wait for a normal size towel to fit me.. Though right now the beach/bathsheets are pretty comfy these days! maybe after i get breast reduction surgery those towels will fit better!
  18. This is what i considered a "good" picture of me BEFORE WLS and this is my "omg is that really me now" picture....wow i look happy LOL
  19. I had same problem and it was my iron. Get a blood test to find out. They can also recommend some medication for the constipation.
  20. My husband has been very supportive. We joined the gym together, we work out together, he's real good about what foods i can and can't eat. He of course was worried that i might die on the operating table, that i would some how "change" but so far the surgery has brought us closer i think.
  21. i have no clue whats going on, but i have to say i love the threads that are "off topic" i get sooooooo tired of reading the same old same old as far as questions about the band goes. So as far as i'm concerned bring on some fun topics if its really that much of a problem, maybe we can set up a new forum for adult content then no one can "accidently" read a thread that offends their morals or whatever. I believe OH has a forum for discussing sex, so perhaps we should follow their lead and create one too.
  22. I think the head hunger is the worse part of the band. You WANT to eat, but you physically just cant. There are many times when i just have to get up and walk away from the food and occupy myself with other things.
  23. her scars arent in the same spot as mine, but i guess its possible eh. Good for her I say. I respect her privacy.
