IMHO, it looks good, but hey, it's hair, it'll grow back. I confess, after reading your post, I went to my bathroom, locked the door and tried to contemplate cutting my hair. I didn't do it, but may once i reach goal. Maybe as part of a makeover. Thankfully, I haven't been losing any hair. Good job on that gorgeous donation.

I've had a lot of falling hair in the 2 months post-op. It was getting scary to see so much come out. After having long hair since my twenties, I decided to go short in the hopes it would slow down the loss. I donated my braid. Here's a little before and after, and the hair I lost...

It's nuts how little food it takes to make me feel full! I used to be able to eat like a bear...now I take as long to eat my child sized anount as it takes my boyfriend to eat two hearty helpings.

I've gone to one fast food place and get a meal, then go to another place and get some fries and then top it off with a frozen yogurt.

Oh....and pizza.....6 bread sticks and a half of a large pizza by myself.

I could never make up my mind, so I'd get a double quarter pounder AND chicken nuggets AND a large soda AND large fries, sometimes ice cream, and then some. My mouth still wants all that, lol.

I began 2014 at 409 pounds. June 11th I was sleeved at 377. Today I am 282. Keep true to high Protein and stay under 10 grams of sugar and you will be fine. There Will Be Plateau Moments though.

Blame it on dealing with life without food numbness, but my tolerance for BS seems to be at an all time low right now.
Getting crap from my mother who expects me to live in her head. I had the audacity to have my Saturday planned with my friend after my morning dental appointment, and didn't know she was thinking (not saying, just thinking) of asking me to run to the mall for her before a candy sale ended at one pm today. This was at noon today. She's openly hostile and accusing me of never helping her. Good God.
Getting crap from the not-soon-enough-to-be-ex who's texting me again because he's pissed that some mail addressed to both of us actually got forwarded to my new address and he couldn't intercept it and hold it hostage. What part of "no contact" does a narcissist not get? Oh yeah, all of it.
Getting a FB message from one of his friends who decided to scold me for not attending his recent anniversary party with my husband (are you f-ing kidding me?).
There's more, but suffice it to say I feel like a s)&t magnet this week.
I went out last night to a political banquet and had a blast. It was something I could never do in my marriage because NSETBEx was a member of the "other" party, and ridiculed every opinion and decision I ever made. It was so refreshing to be in a room full of intelligent people who shared my world views.
Today and tonight I am celebrating Christmas with my best friend. One of the only people in my life who remains bull$:!@ free.
    Thanks for listening.

I was surprised by how little I would actually be able to eat. I know the quantities would be small after surgery and have seen in mentioned many times. However, actually having it happen to me after eating half of 1 scrambled egg was a shock to the system. Compared to how much I was able and did eat before surgery to what I eat now is shocking!

That was awesome btw, I finally got it, unfortunately a little too late so required a mild enema. But was better than becoming impacted. The combo of the 2 made life a LOT easier today, thanks!

My surgeon said 4 weeks...I was off for 6 (the extra 2 were my own decision). I'm a staff nurse. I'm back to work now...survived my first 8 hour shift, and my two 12 hour shifts (days). I start my 12 hour nights tonight...hoping they go well.

Lallylocks reacted to CheleLynn45 in NSV for a newbie WOOHOO!
One NSV I have had, keeping with the car theme...........
I hate pumping gas so much. I am very lucky that my hubby usually will do it for me. But for those times when he isn't around and I have to do it I have to get out of the car to reach the release for gas door.
Well the other day my daughter who recently got her permit offered to fill my tank for me. She went around towards the pump and instead of asking her to hit the release for the gas tank I just reached down and did it. Afterwards I stopped and said to myself, "I just was able to reach down and release my gas tank!!"
I know it is a simple thing but to me it was huge!! It has only been 4 weeks since my surgery and I have had a ton of these moments. I can't wait to see what other NSV's I have along the way as I lose more weight!!

Well, in addition to a scale victory of kicking another nine pounds to the curb this week, I have lost somewhere in the neighborhood of three inches off my waist and hips, AND I bought pants at a store that doesn't cater to plus sizes!!!!

Congratulations that people are starting to notice. I am one of those who lose from the face down. Now that I am over halfway to goal, my figure is like a pencil stuck through a donut. That is in spite of the fact that my waist went from 53" to 43" real quick. That is when I started feeling like this sleeve is really working.

WOW!! Congratulations!! I did zero measurements before my surgery 3 weeks ago. Now I wish I did. I went out "in public" for the first time yesterday and saw family and people I knew. Lots of "I can see it (the weight loss) in your face" and some "I can see it in your waist" so it must be coming off.

11 months out, 110 lbs down. I wore a designer Badgley Mischka dress to a formal event - floor length black sequins and won "The Butterfly Award" at a banquet for the dance studio I go to.

You will lose it around three months and it was the hardest part of this journey. Being fat that was my best feature but now it is thin. I cut it and got a new style and everyone loves it. It's not the end of the world
