Walking a few miles becomes almost effortless.
You are willng to have pictures taken of yourself again.
Your tailbone hurts if you sit too long.
You can see hip bones.
Your 15 year old daughter tells you "Dad, your moobs have gotten smaller......."

I think everyone just has cabin fever from the long winter. There's a lot of grumpiness and conflicts taking place lately, not just on this forum but on others as well from what I'm seeing. It's either that or there is just something in the air these days.......

I get the hiccups when I'm full. If I pay close enough attention to stop eating at the first hiccup, it's usually perfect. If I keep eating after that it's always too much by the time my brain catches up and gives me the full feeling. (And that's not fun.)

I thought it might be a full moon ... but nope, the next one's not until April 4.

I forgot to add that Green Chili is the best flavor IMO.

I am on my last day of the pre-op diet and it hasn't been bad. I get one meal a day except for today because surgery s tomorrow. I got a high Protein shake and it helped me to stay full. Keep a stool softener near by because all that Protein will constipate you. I drink tons of Water also and I haven't had any problems.
Good luck and it really does fly by. I can't believe I'll wake up and go in for surgery tomorrow. ????????

The Protein Shakes will make the liquid phase tolerable. Don't worry, surgery will come and go before you know it and you will be on your way to a new life. We have all been there and from what I've seen very few ever regret it. (I certainly don't!)

I order from them all the time. Shipping takes a while but it's cheap for what you get. With no sugar added it's a very dry jerky so a 1 lb bag is ALOT and it will last you quite awhile.

My boyfriend of nine years (he is 64, I am 63) loves me any way I am. I weighed 185 pounds when we met, and gained another 50 pounds due to orthopedic and mobility issues. Even though he has never asked me to change anything about myself, he has been supportive of my sleeve surgery and recovery. One thing I love about him is that he sees me as sexy and voluptuous at any weight. Even at our age, we have our rowdy time with the lights on. (At least once a week) I don't need to hide in the dark because he makes me feel loved and wanted, no. matter. what.
Whether you are big or small your feelings and nerve endings still work, and you guys are missing out on one of the best exercises there is. Tell him the first exercise you want to do every day is to throw him on his back so you can get on your pony and ride!
My other concern is ....when did you give away your control over your body, medical care and mental health? How is he in the kitchen? While he is berating your food choices, is he bringing in pizza and Krispy Kreme Donuts? Is he willing to take a morning or after dinner walk with you? Stand up for yourself. Don't give up on having a voice for yourself.

The Atkins meals do not come with noodles, potatoes, etc they come with a neat and veggie.

I'm trying to limit my bikini competitions these days so I'm probably no help......

I think it's really hit or miss some surgeons say no some say yes. I use one periodically and have had no issues. @@staceymeaux

Sugar alcohol is the devil.....and the number one reason in America for mid-day underwear changes.

I was stalled for about 3 weeks but weight is suddenly dropping off again even though I haven't really changed anything. Hang in there, it will start coming off again soon!

Frozen Atkins meals are high in Protein and low in carbs. Some have high fat though. I eat them all the time but I'm not really worrying too much about fat.

It took about 2 months for me. I'm 3 months out now and everything feels 100% normal, just smaller.

Get ready for a new life! Congrats!!
