I am staying on plan today because I survived Thanksgiving I can do anything :hungry:

while u might as well start now rather than later the time will pass by fast for you , they have you so busy with Dr. appointment Labwork and weight history.

:whoo:well since this thrad was first started I was approved I found out that my plan UHC CHOICE PLUS TEXAS the only requirement was a BMI 40 and over auto. approval. good luck everyone

if you change Dr. you will also have to resubmitt paperwork to insurance and start that process all over again

A lot of Dr. in the US want even see you becasue it was done in Mexcio and the US doctors don't want that trouble fall back on them

UHC Texas just APPROVED me in 10 days the customer service said that at the end of the year they have 15 days to approve are deny cause of the time frame. the only requirement I had with UHC is that my BMI was 40 I called them every siingle day and started a thread here waiting to be approve and I vented there it help

I haven't been banded yet but it feels like I am the only person that went to the free seminars and ask my Doctor question before I get banded, people have gotten banded than post question like I gained weight after surgery, well I was told that at the seminar, why I have gas pain also told that at seminar, what can I eat what is PB and slim all question that my Dr. ask. this is such a big deal why not ask these question before you have a surgery OMG what are some people thinking having any type of procedure without knowing what are the side affect or what can happen to you afterward.think god some of these people didn't have gastric bypass you can rev. that

I got grat news I don't have to pay the hospital 10% UPFRONT they will bill me each month.(my insurance paid 90% my 10%was $1400.00, but they called and said that they can be me later each month til the 1400.00 is paid in full that is so cool I think I will push my date up I was waiting til dec 13 to get paid

I am in Dallas so I found a Doctor that was soing all those things for free (labwork, ekg, consult.) the UHC don't require psyc. so I did not do it. but I am the Banking industry fortune 500 company

I have 1 week Vacation and 5 sick days left for this year I work for a Bank and we have been really busy I save these says because I was trying to get the band, now they are mad because I am taking them off to have my surgery what assholes it's not my fault you are under staff nobody is going to mess up my band lol see (see when I get back Jan 3) post band I am so out of here

I have UHC choice plus Texas I just got my insurance 10/22/07 and went to consult on 11/5/07 labwork 11/5/07 filed paperwork 11/6/07 approved 11/16/2007 my insurance never even came out of my pay check yet. it was so easy for me the only requirment was BMI over 40 that's it, no health problems no weight history, no 6 month diets
