I have UHC choice plus Texas I just got my insurance 10/22/07 and went to consult on 11/5/07 labwork 11/5/07 filed paperwork 11/6/07 approved 11/16/2007 my insurance never even came out of my pay check yet. it was so easy for me the only requirment was BMI over 40 that's it, no health problems no weight history, no 6 month diets

That is what I have, are you a teacher? My doc is recommending that I do all of these things (nutrition consult, psyc consult, etc) prior to my appt with him in an effort to make the ins approve my surgery. I don't know if I should start the process or wait.

it is a lot of money to do all of this stuff under my current ins.

I am in Dallas so I found a Doctor that was soing all those things for free (labwork, ekg, consult.) the UHC don't require psyc. so I did not do it. but I am the Banking industry fortune 500 company
