Good Morning Cindy hope you had fun shopping for your flooring. Thats something that the g'pa invited the family to the funeral.... it would take me forever to forgive something like that.... they are truly amazing people. I wanted to drive to the shore today but its cloudy out and I'm so tired anyway. TOM is here and I'm just so lazy on Saturdays, i think its b/c I'm racing all week that saturdays I fall apart LOLOL. No WL for me this past month WTF!!! so I need to really stop this shit and get serious... I'm only fooling myself. I do need another fill, I know that would help b/c I can eat an entire slice of scilian (sp?) pizza w/no sweat and food is going down way to easy.... feels like the beginning before my fills kicked in. Ohhh but I don't wanna go LOlOl, but I will. Holidays are here and I don't wanna gain frig frig frig !!! I'm nevous to go b/c the fill doc's are new uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!! But next week I'll make an appt to go....sasssafrassss. How are you guys doing?

I was banded October of last year... had to wait until February to get my first fill....... talk about frustration (I was losing weight sloooowly so my doc said as long as I'm losing no fill..... so I gained weight on purpose b/c I knew couldn't continue on my own.. nice eh).

Hang in there, the band will work once you start to get your fills. I remember eating a TON of food b/4 getting my fills and it took the 4th one before it really kicked in. I agree with Kat.... at this point in the game its about healing and not WL. I wasn't allowed to start exercising until after 6 weeks, so be gentle on yourself. IT WILL WORK !!!! be patient but mostly remember it is a tool, we still need to work with it. You'll do just fine... you'll see.

Rita, no, I don't go to any support groups. The one they have at hackensack was dominated by this one woman who had the band for like a month and the entire sessions were "all about her" and she knew everything.. OY was it frustrating. I find that I get 24/7 support right here. Any time I need to know something LTB has been to my rescue. Plus with work, the house, dd, church.... I can't seem to squeeze in the extra time to do much more.... I'm pretty content lol. Cheryl, nice to meet you. I live in Bergen Cty, not far from Wayne. Welcome to BandLand Everyone

Hi Kids, Can't stay to do personals but Friday I'm bossless so I'll catch up then...its good to see everyone's back I will never buy from that clothing store again (Silhouetts), I got the two shirts in and boy, the quality was like wearing tissue paper... ..piece of kaka.....both are going back.. The more you bad mouth or put down this guy in front of her , the more she's gonna feel sorry for him and cling on harder. Maybe when he does things that piss you off and she tells you... just reply to her "that was not nice of him" and leave it as that. I'm sure your sister knows how you all feel deep down inside. My advice is don't lose your sister over this knuckle head, its not worth it. You all are in my prayers

Share what I've learned.... Having the band around your stomach doesn't automaticlly change the way your brain thinks about food. The band is a tool and not the cure. Losing weight is NOT a race.... everyone is different. Slow IS good 42 years of habits won't go away over night. The band is a wonderful tool. The band makes me feel human again and that I can go out and enjoy dinner w/out cleaning off the table :confused: :confused: :confused:

Crystal, sorry it took me so long to find this thread, I really haven't been posting / reading alot lately... busy busy busy. I too have faith so tell DH that makes 3 ...... and it seems that 3 is a good number for you :confused: I know the next few weeks will be tough but they will go fast.... you've waited this long. You'll be in my prayers sweet Lady as well as your doctors .

Hi Kids :confused: Its been a strange day.... I told you all about this already but I'll post it again b/c today is the day....... My niece Olivia (she was born a dwarf) is in the hospital, Columbia Presbyterian for children (NYC) for surgery today, she needs two spinal surgeries. The first one today is to shave her lower lumbar b/c there is compression there. The next surgery is b/c she has a tethered spine (sp?) both are extremely dangerous....doctors said she could be paralyzed or even die from the surgeries.....she is only 10 years old. Also her body organs are growing larger than her body pushing her spine into her brain.... On top of all this chit, my brother and his wife (Olivia's parents) are getting a divorce and the mother is a nasty Biotch.... my brother doesn't want the divorce but is giving her what she wants... so the stress for my brother is two fold. Olivia will be in for a few weeks for the first surgery and then the doctors will discuss the 2nd surgery. Parking in NYC at the hospital is $25.00 a day WTF!!!! so what do you do, take out a loan to stay at a hospital with your kid just to pay the parking.. oy vey.... wtf is wrong with society???? Ohhhhhhhh on a good note.... I had my first cleaning in 8 years and the dentist said I have NOOOO cavities ROFLMFAO !!!!! heck I'll take it. Rita CONGRATS on being in onederland WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOT !!!!
