Tell them the date is set and if they don't give you that approval # your lawyer will get in touch with them. Tell them this is screwing up your time with your employer as well. If there's another house to rebuild, I'm sorry chicklet but you'll be on your own. I'm to old and tired to ever do that again lol. Edna, I was so nervous when I went to my surgeon so I know exactly how you feel. They say I have 85 lbs to lose but its more like 95 - 100. 85 lbs puts me at the high range of the weight scale. Hang in there and just know that God is with you. HUGS !!!

Betty, thank you !! DH and I built that home with our own two hands, no contractors. It took us 3 1/2 years just to get it in movable condition and then another 7 1/2 years to finish it. I had no closets for 6 of those years LOL !!! We also did the landscaping once we cleared the property with a bulldozer. The house that was sitting on the property when we bought it was rotted to the ground so we had to tare it down and build up from the foundation. I'm very proud of what we did I'd love to go bike riding, every time I see some one on a motorcycle I'm like aaaaaah. The only reason I wouldn't have one here is b/c of the road rage. Maybe one day if I move to the country I'll get one. Beanie, better homes and garden couldn't hold a candle to me... if you want some one that can put ups siding, dry wall, plumbing, flooring, french drains, cement work, painting and all that icky stuff... CALL ME !!! (well don't really call me b/c my back is broken from all that LOLOL). The only thing I didn't touch was the electrical work... DH did that. WELL !!!!!!!!! I submitted my medical leave of absense to my boss !!! he didn't ask what I was going out for which made my life easier I'm taking off anywhere from 4 - 6 weeks I am getting so nervous

Hey Alex, we went to Masker's Orchard, its in Warwick. Its not to far from me, maybe 40 minutes, if that. Do a search on the web for closer places. The NJ site is pretty good. We might go pumpkin picking this Sunday, gotta see what DH wants to do.

I got so worked up before my consultation with the doctor that I was eating like a pig, I mean a P-I-G !! get this crap... I lost weight. Must have been my nerves. Now I'm 3 weeks from surgery and I'm still a basket case. I bet I packed on 10 lbs already. Wish I could help you but I can't even help myself.

They just want to make sure you do not have an eating disorder (at least thats what my doc told me).

One thing I try to tell myself is food will always be here on earth, I will not. Tell your self you'll have it some other time as treat. Is there any way you could eat b/4 going to these massive food orgies? Maybe with a full belly things won't look so tempting. I know its hard b/c I work for a pharmaceutical company and you talk about food every where. Every stinkin meeting there is donuts and Cookies....WTF??? This year after I'm banded, I'm going to refuse to go to any "gatherings" this year. If my boss gets pissed, oh well, than thats going to be his problem. Good luck !!!!

valentines day

Good Morning We had a great time apple picking yesterday. We all got apple cider donuts, you can get them warm or cold, I got mine warm and DD decided 1/2 way through her cold one that she wanted mine lol, kids !!! They are really good. I love this time of year. I got to take an afternoon nap and then got up to decorate the outside for halloween. I have pumpkins all over my yard (fake ones b/c the squirrels eat them if they are real....little bastards LOL). Did food shopping, and I think we made it to bed at 10. I'll try to get pictures to post. Today is apple pie baking, church, a birthday party... oh shoot, laundry ICK. I need to clean the house but eh, we'll see. I'll also be cooking for the week today (dinners), pot roast is on the list, gotta see what else is in the freezer. Whats happening with you all this beautiful fall day?

I am scheduled for surgery on the 24 and I am worried too. I've been coughing my head off for 2 weeks now, I mean coughing like every 10 seconds non stop. My chest burns from it. I went to the doctor friday and got some antibiotics and nasal spray. I'm worried b/c I feel like my lungs are taking a beating right now.

ON THE FLOOR !!! I wouldn't be able to get up the next day LOLOL !!! ohh but then Mel could do unmentionable things to me now couldn't he Road trip, like Cheech & Chong (((all my friends like the low rider)))

Hello !! I tried to get in here this morning but there must have been something wrong with the site. Beanie hopefully the car won't cost to much. Payments do suck. What? you don't like sweetpotatoes. I'm very happy for you. *BRAVO* I still have a really bad cold. My cough is so bad that I feel like I popped a kidney. And I dread that this will postpone my surgery in 3 weeks. I went to the doctor yesterday for some better antibiotics and some nose spray. I'm coughing so incrediably hard every few seconds I just feel like I'm hurting my lungs.. I would rather postpone the surgery than to take a chance but we'll see what the doctor says. Lets see, today we went apple picking (((tomorrow apple pies, oh yeah))) up at Maskers Orchards. THen I took a nap after that I decorated the outside with halloweenie stuff, gosh it looks cute. I'll try to get a picture and post it. Did the dreaded food shopping but didn't get to clean the house... any volunteers? Tomorrow is church and a birthday party. Whats happening with you all ? Beanie, when do you go to CA ?

Beanie bring me back a surprise I don't know why but when I hear the name Burbank, I think of old game shows like match game, newly wed game, etc. Some day I'll make it to California... shoot, I ain't never been on a plane.
