Good Morning Happy Saturday Everyone ! Its a well needed rainy day in Jersey. The kinda day where you wanna snuggle on the couch, watch a few good movies while a pot of chili or stew is cooking in the kitchen. Or just stay in bed and sleep LOL. Now back to reality. Today I have to attend a memorial service for my BIL who passed away last month. He lived in AZ and was creamated but his siblings and parents live here in Jersey. My MIL really needs closure so that is why we are having a memorial for him. My BIL's name is Bobby and he was 54 when he passed away from cancer, so if you all could find 20 seconds today to say a prayer for him, I'd really appreciate it. After that I'm no sure what DH has planned. Maybe DD and I will do some crafty things for the fall. The leaves are just starting to change here so you'll see a few oak trees that are pretty orange pink color and a few yellow trees. Whats happening with you all today? Are you all OP (on plan) ? What about exercise ? I can't here you ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ lol.

I'm so excited, if I had any energy I'd let out a big yell YIPPEE!!! lol My doctors office called to set up an appt for the 15th for preop blood work.... wholey crap batman. Lisa thanks for this thread. My surgery is 2 weeks away and I am scared to death. I'm not scared of the band, I'm not scared of the surgery pain, I'm not scared of PBing, I'm not scared of not being able to eat as much. I'm scared of not waking up after surgery, I'm AM scared of dying and leaving my little girl motherless I'm all teary eyed just writing this... (gosh I hope my boss doesn't walk out right now lol..I'm such a baby lol). BUT !! I am not healthy, I am not active, I can't even ride a bike with my girl and its not getting better, being this fat is killing me physically and emotionally, so I know I have to do this. I want to be healthy even though I'm scared. Call it silly but its very very real to me. Lisa, again, thank you so much for this thread, it really made me feel good today. MICHELLE !!!! If they said yes, they'd be slitting their own throats. You could have a major law suit againt them. Its sad that so many companies are closed minded. One thing I have to say about the company I work for is that they do not judge. There are ALOT of large people working here. I see many folks that are 400 lbs walking on campus. KRZY, the company that hires you is going to hit the jackpot when they realize what a good person you really are. GOOD LUCK !!!

Ray, I'm methodist as well. I havent been to church in a year or two... okay more like two. But I've started going back this past Sunday. I've been feeling empty for quite some time and need to focus on the Lord more. The sound of cheerios coming back up and out your nose sounds painful. If you miss potatoes, here's a great recipe. You can make this LOW CALORIE by cutting down on the butter and sour cream or leaving the sour cream out. I LOVE THIS STUFF !!! Preheat oven to 350 1 very large head of fresh cauliflower - boil or steamed well. 1/2 stick butter softened 1/2 cup sour cream salt and pepper to taste *OPTIONAL Topping: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar Let cauliflower drain VERY well. Press out the Water, blotting with paper towels. Put cauliflower, butter, sour cream and salt in large bowl, use electric mixer and blend very well. Spray an 8" by 11" (approx.) size casserole baking dish, and spread mixture evenly in dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. * Take out and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 5-10 minutes more, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy the flavor, get your Fiber and forget the carbs and calories Note: its not as creamy as real potatoes but the flavor is great IMHO

Here's a joke for you Texas Folks !!! There were three country churches in a small Texas town: the Presbyterian church, the Methodist church and the Catholic church. Each church was overrun with pesky squirrels. One day, the Presbyterian Church called a meeting to decide what to do about the squirrels. After much prayer and consideration they determined that the squirrels were predestined to be there and they shouldn't interfere with Gods divine will. The Methodist group got together and decided that they were not in a position to harm any of God's creations. So, they humanely trapped the squirrels and set them free a few miles outside of town. Three days later, the squirrels were back. It was only the Catholics who were able to come up with the best and most effective solution. They baptized the squirrels and registered them as members of the church. Now they only see them on Christmas and Easter. :eek: :mad: :D :D :D :D :D
