I have Cigna, I was approved on the first attempt. I did have to do the supervised diet thing for 3 or four months, plus a psch and nutrition visit, but once everything was complete I recieved approval in less than two weeks.

Congrats on your weight loss, keep on that good path it only gets better. I am three days from my 5 mth surgiversery ... 81 pds down since the start of the journey, 64 since surgery. I have never felt so good in my life. I am smaller than I was in high school, love every day of it.

Surgery date july 1 st 2014 highest 265 current 193 72 down!! Happiest ive been in many many years! new year new me

10 weeks out feeling great!!  

Before pic is me at 280. Surgery was 7/23/14. Took the after picture a few weeks ago at 220. I am now at 213

I know what you mean. I can see the loss in my face but not really anywhere else. My husband told me he sees it in my legs, my waist, and my (starting lack of) back fat. I am glad for the back fat to be going away! I also see it in the way my clothes look on me so I'm going with it. My scale says it is so. Another pound GONE this morning. WOOT! In time, you will see the loss in yourself too.

I get up, pee, get naked, weight. If there is a downward change,Ii grab my tablet and joyously update my ticker. So,yes, yes and yes. Joy, joy, joy!!!

Hello all: it has been a while since I have posted. Wanted to say at 3.5 years out I feel great and look ok. Wish I had done it sooner.

Here my before and during 8 weeks out the first picture was taking the day I got home from surgery the last was last week 48 pound gone forever

A very few of my closest friends know.... not one family member. At family meals I fix my plate and push food around and talk alot. I had a friend say well "you can't drink and you can't eat" so what are we to do. I said I can eat just not as much as I use to.... Just be patient with them they will never understand until they feel their own weight is killing them. I have even used the excuse at a couple meals - I have been snacking and eating while cooking and I am just full. Remember you did this for you!!!!!

Yes I'm dang near 50 but I want a pair of super flair bell bottom jeans (low rise).... and sleeveless shirt (this will never happen, I have bad hanging arms)

You are so much better than me, I would have asked him the same question, then when he said what do you mean, just say well I heard you had a penis implant as loud as I could..... conversation over!
