  1. didn't your doctor give you a weekly guide to what to eat? Especially since you had so many problems? If not let me know and I'll send you what my doctor gave me. I was sleeved on the 2nd and I can have creamed soup and yogurt and sf popsicle and pudding
  2. Yep normal! walk the gas off. Take your meds, don't worry about your protein for this week and get your sips of water in. And get some gas x strips omg they saved my life! You'll feel better in a couple days
  3. If you get the pressure cooker they show on tv, I have it but I have a love/hate relationship with it. The seal sometimes doesn't seal so it doesn't pressure up. You have to hold it shut till the pressure latch catches. Once that happens its amazing. About 10-15 minutes lol
  4. I'm getting it. The fee is reasonable and the vitamins don't taste horrible like the bariatric advantage ones I have do. So why not. Usually vitamins upset my stomach. These don't seem to yet
  5. It's funny my physician assistant says"well you don't have dumping with gastric sleeve surgery" I invited to spend the day with me.
  6. Sugar free food have never set well worth me more so since surgery. 10min in its coming out. I haven't gotten to try much since I'm only 11 days out but since most of the stuff on the list this week are sugar free I'm pretty screwed lol
  7. I was told by my doctor to keep an eye out for this since I take 3 blood pressure pills but I think it happened this morning I got very dizzy in the shower. It was cold in house since the weather can't decide what it wants to do and I got up and took a hot shower I was in there washing my hair with my eyes closed and the room started to spin. I slept late and hadn't eaten yet so maybe that added to the problem. I still don't feel very well an hour later
  8. I'm soup ed out and anything sugar free does bad bad things to me.
  9. Yeah I did most of the above nothing worked but imetrex. I'm better now thanks all
  10. Why would you want to? They're filled with garbage and taste like junk. I'd rather just bake some chicken breasts for 40 minutes @350 with poultry seasoning and salt and pepper and start there. Add vegetable medley and you have lunch Or turkey and cheese roll ups. So easy
  11. Have you been taking your vitamins? Have you had you Dr check your blood counts?
  12. Day I I was allowed creamed soup but if you Use a immersion blender and have no chunks you should be okay
  13. Hope your surgery went well. I found my taste buds have gone crazy after my surgery. I can't eat anything that I did before that was artificially sweetened. I loved the bariatric advantage but now can't stomach them but I'm okay with quest.
  14. Omg. I'm not overly hungry but I'm sick of soup, sick of protein shakes and anything with artificial flavor. I REALLY want chicken salad with hard boiled eggs! Other than that I'm doing good. Rant over
  15. I'm at 9 days out and I can't sleep in the morning and in the morning I'm the afternoon I can't help but sleep
  16. Yes but it's always been that way for me. Note I can't stand the taste of social sweeteners after surgery
  17. The first week I failed miserably on protein.my taste changes were so radical. I couldn't eat anything with artificial sweetness. I wanted to gag. I loved the bariatric advantage shakes before surgery now I can't even. My dr said don't worry this week just get the water and some broth. This week is better and I find the quest shakes are less sweet. I'm getting better every day
  18. I hope that the hard part of this journey ends for you, you deserve to to be able to enjoy you weight loss. I admire how you have kept your head up and kept on going. You will get thru this npr. We will be here to support you!
  19. I haven't told too many people. My husband had told everyone at work so I'm not sure why I don't go ahead. I may in a few weeks
  20. I was at my family phys ofc yesterday and it said I was 350 my bariatric dr scale said I was at 342.... lol guess which one I'm gonna use?
  21. I say stop weighing yourself and just follow the plan. I refuse to be a slave to a scale. If your following the plan you'll get where you need to be. I will weigh once a month at the doctor ofc so I'm on the same scale every time. Measure your self if you must do something. You body changes will be visible there sometimes more than on a scale..
  22. Everything will catch up and even out don't worry! Come on celebrate! You've come a long way!
  23. I've lost since my last weigh in just before my surgery on March 2nd total of 31 since my supervised began in September. 381-350lbs yay on my way!
