  1. I think it just depends on your doc and what your insurance requires. My doc had me do an EKG and xrays and bloodwork. My DH was on BP medicine due to his blood pressure before surgery. My insurance requires psych eval, nutritional counseling and letter of recommendation from PCP. 2 week modified diet recommended by doc (2 protein shakes and low fat supper). If you feel comforable after talking to your surgeon, that's what matters.
  2. I'm going to give mine about a week and then give them a call to check status as well. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully we will be banded around the same time.
  3. Oh. Pm me if you need more info.
  4. Paylady. I am doing mine through Dr. Cribbins in Dallas, Tx. My aftercare will be with Rita Zuber at the Calhoun Family Clinic.
  5. Update: Everything will be submitted tomorrow. My P.C. came through for me.
  6. My french is lacking (took several years of Latin in high school) , but I can translate this! LOL
  7. Unfortunately RoseWolf you can't start a thread with such a bold generalization as Christians are being bashed and then play the victim when others don't have the same view as you. I call b.s. Seems like you were intentionally trying to get people to bite with the above statements, not promote peace. How about showing a little proof of these claims?
  8. Now plump princess, THAT was eloquently put.
  9. Green, I heart you. LOL
  10. Green, You get two thumbs up! :wink2:
  11. Thanks faith. I appreciate your support. I will let you know when the deed is done. LOL
  12. Restricted, They actually had everything else way before that date. The only thing they were waiting for was my psych report. So to me this means everything should be ready to go and just awaiting this document, which is the way that the dr office has been portraying it. I have spoken with them on numerous occassions and was even told it would be turned into insurance by last Friday, yet here we are. It's not so much waiting for them to turn it into insurance that upsets me, it's the I will call you back with the case number and then they never do and the cycle just repeats itself again the next day. If they would give the proper expectations, I would be fine. I have asked them several times when should I call back and they tell me when, I call back and get another I will call you back. They had the report first thing Wednesday morning and they were open Monday so they have actually had 5 full working days. I guess I expect too much from people since I work in customer service and make sure to give my clients and accurate timeline for how and when their request will be completed. That way they don't have to call back. Sorry if I sounded a little pissy.

This came as a complete shock to me. Really hit home since I just watched one of his movies this past weekend.
  14. Crystal, I am having the SAME trouble with my dr. , who coincidentially is in Dallas as well. They had everything they needed on the 16th and everytime I call it's I will call you back later. I called three times today and each time, I will call you back later. I finally got a "tomorrow around lunch" out of her today. I am FURIOUS that this has still not been turned in. If there is no "tomorrow at lunch" when I call tomorrow I am asking for copies of my file and looking for another surgeon. Couldn't be any worse than where I am now.
  15. The announcer was hilarious. This Tynes a charm. HAHAHA
  16. Anytime Lucie.
  17. Wasn't asking for one. I am entitled to my opinion.
  18. Why should anyone be sensitive to it? You believe what you believe no matter what anyone does or says. Personally to me, people can believe whatever they want to believe until they find themselves trying to "convert" me. Then I have lost all respect for that person. If anyone has been bashed because of their beliefs, then I am truley sorry that you experienced that. However, I find alot of times people get defensive just because someone has a view that is not similar to theirs. I am not saying that's the case in this situation, but I have seen it and I find that just as repulsive as bashing someone because of their beliefs.
  19. Give me a pair of flops in every color and I would be just peachy luluc.
  20. I try to stay out of the "religion" threads because it's "not my cup of tea", but I have only seen one thread that was really bashing Christians and that was the thread by the person who has only made 7 posts on LBT and a moderator said something as soon as it was done. I really don't see exactly what you are talking about. I know there have been some Athiest debate threads, but I think they were left at that: debates. I guess I never expect the world to be a perfect place, therefore I am not disappointed when it isn't. I agree with you that everyone should be accepted for who they are, but that doesn't mean you can't constructively debate about it. Maybe I have just been oblivious to what you are referring to.
