Push ups help also, you can do them against the wall. I need an exercise buddy. I can't wait to move. I will be moving into a house and I will have so much more room.
  5. Thank you Vines but I'm just not feeling it. Believe me if I ever have any type of sleeping issues I will consult my doctors and mention the sleep study so we all will be aware. At this point I'm not using it and I'm not going to. I wake up about 3 times during the night that I know of and 2 of them are to go to the bathroom LOL. I wake up before my clock goes off and instead of trying to get 5 to 30 more minutes of sleep I get up. I am a morning person and feel great. Sometimes I try to get a little exercise in.....sooommmeettimmmeesssss. LOL
  6. Our bodies are crazy and do what it wants, when it wants.
  7. Clevergrrly, pbing is not something you just do on purpose. Something is stuck and you body reacts and you can help it or wait it out. Sometimes you eat someting and you don't want to stop eating it even after you feel the full feeling. Donali.....DUCK! RENEBENE.... I think it is ...just like that. ppiiitttt

  10. That's a personal question but he enjoyed it. LOL Wow you are a ball of energy now. With all that work, I am sure you lost more weight and below that 199 now. You go girl. Keep it up.
  11. Christine everything is fine, just be thankful that you are not hungry and go with it. Don't wory about trying to force calories. Keep drinking your shakes so you get your Protein in. When hunger hits you, it will hit you hard. Eventhough you can gulp, don't, drink slowly because it makes for good practice for the rest of your life. With the little calorie intake you will see those pounds come off.

I am so sorry for your lost. The doctors warn you about the statistics of death with going under but I don't think any of us believe that we won't come out of it. Thank God she was sleep. My prayers are with you and her family.
  13. LOL Love Cats that's funny. You are doing the healthy cheat. LOL
  14. I am having a desire for a pumpkin or sweet potatoe pie but I want it to be healthy. It does not have to be a pie becuae you can put anything on crushed graham crackers or nuts. Does anyone have an easy recipe?
  15. Sometimes I chew and spit but not often. I don't like the pb feeling, I feel terrible and it can take so long for it to come back out. Do you feel bad or does it hurt before you pb? For me the terrible feeling keeps me straight. When I start to have a full feeling I have to stop eating. A lot of times I don't want to stop but I know I HAVE TO. At this point I have to get away from the food and do something else. What kills me is that I can't drink after I have eaten something. I love water.
  16. Hi Love cats, congratulations on your journey to a healthier you. Here is the food stages list from the food thread. It helped me out greatly when trying to determine what I should eat. http://lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=3995
  17. I got my first fill last Wednesday and I did the same thing. I went to McDonalds that morning and got a hash brown which I had not had since being banded and a sandwich. I thought about getting something else to eat before getting filled but that didn't happen because I came to LBT that morning and read and realized what I was doing. Knowing what you are doing and why you are doing is half the battle and you know what and why. Be carefull after you get your fill ladies because you will have to do liquids for 2 to 3 days and then you have to remember how to eat like you have a band. I have not been able to eat the foods I was able to eat before my fill. I tried to eat a piece of meat (rib) and that hurt. I ate some broccoli and I felt my esophogus getting tight and I still put another piece of broccoli in my face and what did I do.....pb'd. Yesterday I tried again to eat mac and cheese and that didn't feel good sooooo with all that said I am back to my Protein shake, juice, Water and Soup. Oh yeah McDonalds plain sundae. It's yogurt and about 160 calories so it is a safe food for me that makes me happy. Listen to your body, chew, chew, chew, small bites, and eat slowlllyyyy after your fill.
  18. Awwwww you have me in tears. Congratulations!!!!!!
  19. :banana Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh You Go Girl Parvath!!!!! Woowwww:banana That Must Feel Awesome!!!!!! Do The Banana Dance:banana:banana:banana:banana:banana
  20. You had the fill in June, that was 3 months ago, so it is time for you to go back and get filled again. Why are you hurting and can't breath? If you hurt and can't breath you have some restriction, listen to your body. The only time I hurt and can't breath is when I eat to much, the wrong thing, to fast or to much. Are you scared to get another fill because of how you felt with the 2.5 fill. That was then, now you body has adjusted to 1.5 it needs a little maybe .5 or even more. The band will have to be adjusted slowly and each time we get restriction that slowly over time allows us to eat more. During the time of restriction we are suppose to practice portion control and if you noticed band friendly foods will help you to loose weight. Good Luck and don't be discouraged.
  21. Oh Trish I am so sorry you are going through this. What time is your appointment? If you don't have one, maybe you can just show up and whoever is available can see you. They will definately have to give you antibiotics, just be sure to see if the meds come in liquid or crushed form. I take pills and that just sticks in my head. We are all here and praying for you.
  22. Jen you are going to be fine. Keep some water near you and keep sipping. Did you get your chewable fiber pills, gas x, calcim etc.? Those vitamins help me with my chewing habit. LOL Old habits are hard to break. How was your weekend? How do you feel today?
  23. Thank you again. Vinesqueen I talked to my doctor and my surgeon about pushing my surgery date back and getting another study and they went over my history and did not see a need for another study.
  24. Congratulations Kira, keep water close to you and sip sip sip.
