  1. YAY!! Congrats!! I'm so glad everything went well. Seems like you had a good experience, that's great. Get plenty of rest and take care. Hope you have a speedy recovery!
  2. I do weigh at night sometimes too! I used to never weigh pre-band, mainly because I just didn't want to know, lol. I do not know what I would do without my scale now though. Oh, and I spend all of my free time on this site. I am totally addicted!
  3. PB stands for Productive Burp. It's just a band term for food coming back up. Bagweaver, do you weigh at home? I admire people who don't, but it seems I am addicted to the scales since being banded. Most of the time, I weigh at least once a day. I know.....I can't help it! I tried going without the scales once and I last only a couple of days and then caved. I hate not knowing.
  4. I can't believe I left that one off! That's another one of my favs! Patrick Dempsey looks soooo much different now! Hottie... Wheets, Joey was my favorite too! It could have been because he was the youngest and the closest to my age. My sister and all her friends were in love with Jordan.
  5. Nip It is nice. I was beginning to think I wasn't going to lose any more. It's funny those thought creep into our minds. I started thinking, "OMGosh, what if I am one of those people in the statistics that only lose like half of their excess weight?" It's a scary thought. Brina Your posts always amaze me. I don't know how in the world you make a story about PB'ing entertaining, but you do. To this day I haven't PB'ed yet and I hope I don't. I do have a question though. Since my last fill, when I wake up in the morning (still laying in the bed), I feel like acidy stuff is coming up my throat a little. It doesn't completely come up, just a little. Has anyone else experienced this?
  6. Those are 2 of my favorite movies! Also, Dirty Dancing, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Goonies, Top Gun, Adventures in Babysitting (one of my favs), Gremlins, Flash Dance, Mannequin, Teen Wolf, Big, E.T. I love 80's movies, that was a classic time.........ahhh, the good ole days. Oh, and The Princess Bride, I love that movie! I like all the Molly Ringwald movies too!
  7. Honestly, I've never heard of Smoothie King and I don't know the nutritional content in their products. If it was me, I would just try to eat some soft foods that have protein. You can get a little protein from yogurt and good bit of protein from cottage cheese. I like to mix yogurt and cottage cheese together. If you must drink something, Starbucks has a skinny latte that has 10g of protein or you could just drink a Protein shake first thing in the morning and try to eat some of the soft protein foods at lunch. Not sure if any of this helps, but that's what I would do.
  8. Well, I think this fill is working wonders. I finally got over my plateau! I lost the 4 pounds I gained, plus 4 more......since Thursday! Whoooo Hooooo!
  9. I am staying on plan today because I FINALLY got over my plateau and I want to keep those scales moving!
  10. Have you explained to him that you can't handle food during your TOM? Is it only around you TOM that you are too tight to eat? If it was me, and it was ONLY around my TOM that I was too tight, I would maybe puree solid protein and make a homemade soup with it. I have pureed really chunky type stews after I get a fill, just until my band loosens a little. It's soft enough to go down, and it's still thick enough to hold me for a while. If he didn't ask, I wouldn't tell him. Now if you are too tight to eat at other times too, maybe you do need a slight unfill. It's not good to make a habit of drinking your protein on a regular basis. What about soft fish or canned tuna or chicken? Have you tried those?
  11. Sounds goooooood! Thanks for sharing!!
  12. Puddin totally slipped my mind. She was such an inspiration to me when I first joined! She was so successful with the band!!
  13. LOL Susan! I definitely learned my lesson. The weather can be deceiving though, my sisters' wedding was at the end of March and it wasn't very hot and it was cloudy. I usually always wear sunscreen.......just had a moment of stupidity, lol.
  14. LOL :tt2::tt2:
  15. No, you are wrong. You need to study up and learn your stuff so you are not telling all these newbies the wrong info. Maybe I should just start a thread telling newbies to come to ME for info, because you people obviously don't know what you are talking about. :wink2: :tt2::tt2::tt2:
  16. Duh......PB stands for pudgy butt. And slim is the term we use for what we want our PB to look like when we get to goal by puking up all our food and starving ourselves. You've been banned longer than me......you should know that already, geesh.
  17. I love the Go Gos! You know, my first concert was New Kids on the Block Speaking of NKOTB, I heard they got back together and are recording a new album and planning an international tour this fall! Now that's something I never thought would happen......
  18. I never order gift baskets online. I find them to be way over priced for such a small amount of product. I always make my own. You can find good looking baskets for a decent price and fill it up with whatever you want. What kind of food does he like, other than cheese?
  19. I have used the Atkins bars too. I really liked them and Alexandra is right, they kept me full for a good while!
  20. Welcome Bagweaver! I'm glad you found us. Congrats on your surgery! How have you been doing since surgery? Are you healing well? This site has been a Godsend for me. I don't know what I would do without it. I have a very supportive family, but nobody understands what you are going through like other people who face the same struggles. It is nice to meet you and I hope you have a speedy recovery!
  21. Ha, that reminds me of my sister's wedding a few weeks ago. She got married at the beach and we stayed there the whole week before her wedding. Like an idiot, I laid out a couple of days before the wedding and I got so sunburne!. I looked like a lobster! I was so burnt that I could barely walk from the swelling. My legs looked huge! I really think I had sun poisoning or something. And to top that, I had to sing at the wedding! I'm sure I looked like a freak up there singing! I really should have known better. I burn really easily, I always have.
  22. Just feel like posting.
  23. I am definitely going to get a miracle suit when I get closer to goal, especially if they work like they claim to. I'll use all the help I can get, lol!
  24. I've seen pictures of Telly on the before and afters and OMGosh, she looks so great! foodstampchamp looks great too! Never seen Faithmd, but I do miss seeing her posts. BBK is right.......come back....all of you!
  25. Ooooh, thanks for the tip! I'll have to try them.
