  1. UGH! YESSSS!!! I hate the constipation. I'm using Colace stool softeners now. If I forget....OWIEEE!!
  2. I'm in KC. Sleeved 4/23/15. Down almost 80 pounds (20 pounds away from 100!) Doing great!
  3. I wished for diarrhea. I still do. Constipation is my issue since surgery.
  4. @@on the fence 2 I did that, too, a few years ago at a previous job. Then, before I had it paid off, I was layed off, and I was penalized for that money. That HURT! Think long and hard about it, just saying.
  5. @@cookies_queen Congrats to you!! I bet you don't sleep too much tonight! You are almost there! Take care and holler and let us know how you're doing afterward!
  6. I stacked some comfy fluffy pillows up in the corner of my bed and the wall, and I propped myself up on the pillows. That was heaven. Better than a recliner, even!
  7. It's taught me to not judge people by their size, or shame anyone for any reason.
  8. I had my sonogram today. Guess who has gall stones and has to have her gallbladder out? This girl. MAN! I knew it!! Trying to get it done before the end of the year since I met my OOP. Think it's doable??? cross your fingers!
  9. @@Kindle Great to hear! I had my very first Gallbladder attack last night. I survived it without going to the ER (I know, I know) I do have a sonogram in the morning tomorrow.
  10. @@songsmith We have the same surgeon. He didn't say anything to me about 20%-30%. Mine was 70%-80%...and more likely 100% if I was diligent and followed the rules.
  11. I hear LorAnn Oils are amazing to use with unflavored Protein powders.
  12. I've started doing this too. I thought it was only me, and that I may need a 12 step program to get it under control. Thank you, Jason for shedding light on this! It's nice to know I'm in good company!
  13. @@VDB Wendy's chili is awesome!
  14. I either order ala carte and just get a Protein item, or I eat off my hubs plate. I ate of my Mom's plate also. She's 86. She didn't even hardly notice!
  15. You might want to check out this forum. http://www.bariatricpal.com/forum/1015-gastric-balloon-endolumenal-bariatric-procedures-forum-new/
  16. I also broke up with mine, but I took mine back to the medical supply place, and I fired my pulmonologist (who told me not to have the surgery because I wasn't BIG enough) he was a dip$hit!
  17. It was valid for me! I placed my order today, and can't hardly wait for my hot chocolate Protein to get here!!
  18. Ok ok....point taken. I haven't lost hair, thank goodness. Just want to have a drop to get this going again, that's all.
  19. @@Inner Surfer Girl it's so hard to embrace it I hate them so!!!
  20. @@LivingLight you and I have similar stats. I've been stalled for a month. Just can't lock in below 200. It is so frustrating. What's even more frustrating is when folks say I'm doing so great, don't fret...stalls happen. When it lasts this long, I FRET! I've tried adding Protein, upping calories lowering calories, upping exercise, lowering exercise, and I am bouncing back and forth between 201 and 195. It just won't stick at 195 and drop further. I am frustrated as heck.
  21. I am going to begin another 5 day reset on the 3rd. In support of a friend who is starting her preop liquids on that day for her surgery on the 10th! There are about 50 of us from the same employer who are going to support her in that way, and lose a little extra poundage in the process!
  22. Good morning, @@VSGAnn2014 ! I have to say that doing the 5 day reset that my Dr "prescribed" did seem to reset my restriction. It felt like I could eat more before I did the reset than afterward. That being said.....I had a realization during the 5 days of Liquid Protein and that was that before I began the 5 days I was GRAZING! I was grazing on CARBS!!! Pretzels to be precise. So, the 5 day reset allowed me to have the head hunger and boredom hunger and not give in to it, whereas I did give in to it before. Does that make sense? So, I think in my case it "reset" my head, not my sleeve.
  23. That was an interesting read. The balloon patients seem to have lots more nausea than the sleeve patients. I didn't have nausea at all, and was able to get my fluids in from day 1. Sure would like to learn more.
  24. @@shriner37 Tim had me do a 5 day reset at 6 month post op visit. He said I didn't lose as much as he had hoped. I had lost only 25, and he wanted 40 more by 6 months. I'm still losing, but at a snails pace. The 5 day reset helped a lot. It helped me get that feeling of tight restriction back. A bunch of us are doing it between holidays and again in January. Just 5 days like it was preop. And...get back in to see Tim.
