1st day post op

I just got home from the hospital a few hours ago. I'm so tired of sleeping on my back, but it hurts to try and sleep on my side. Did anyone else experience this?

Any suggestions on do's and dont's as I enter this new phase in life?

I stacked some comfy fluffy pillows up in the corner of my bed and the wall, and I propped myself up on the pillows. That was heaven. Better than a recliner, even!

I read that a body pillow can really help. Can anyone go to Bed, Bath & Beyond for you?

I couldn't sleep on my side for weeks. I slept mostly in my recliner for the first week. I actually went and bought recliner post op day 2 when I couldn't get up out of my couch, lol.

Pillows pillows pillows!!! Stacked them up in my bed like 5 of them lol I could not sleep on my side comfortably for at least 2 weeks.
